TurboTax is getting worse to use. ADVERTISED AS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 10 !!! I HAD TO BUY A NEW LAPTOP IN ORDER TO USE TT ! Entering 1099 info is difficult. No list of accounts from previous year. Hard to get to, find account/type is not intuitive. When skipping importing it is not clear how to proceed to enter interest/dividend info. How to find the account you want to enter the 1099 info for. There is a button or box at the end of a section that needs to be pressed to proceed (to enter another account or more info?), but it doesn't show on the screen. There's no guidance or hint to scroll to the bottom of the page to get to it.

your payment process for State return is the most ridiculous process on earth. every year I have to deal with it. Then I create a refund on Federal to cover it and you charge $40 processing. No way to get from turbo tax program to intuit to pay the state fee. it opens a form that you cannot navigate from! I will not use turbotax again.

It is still simple and easy to use. Although, there was a glitch that would not allow last year's info to be transferred, but it was corrected the next day. When the problem initially happened, your AI assistant blamed it on my 'corrupt' file. But I checked out my file and found it to be okay. I just shut it down and came back the next day hoping you all found that your program was iffy. And so it was. When I booted it up the next day, and the update happened, it worked.

As with the several previous years I've used TurboTax to prepare and e-file our joint return, this product did a good job of allowing me to work through our federal and state returns. However, there seems to be more and more prominent marketing for add-on features as a hapless taxpayer works on distilling their financial life down into the necessary tax forms. It's still a good deal better than completing paper forms and stapling multiple documents to the return itself to mail in, but my experience is a bit more negative than neutral year over year in recent annual compilations and filings.

My Ohio Tax and School District tax were rejected. TurboTax promised a software after March 19. After an extended chat with your online help center, they gave me an 800 number to call which informed my that they can.t help me on Windows 10, and stopped. My computer is on Windows11, When I received a phoine number to call I expected a human voice and not a poor excuse for an answer, Thank you

I'm a Turbo Tax user of so many years, there no chance of me changing. Although, my returns are relatively easy, I';m sure most returns may appear simple but to some, they present challenges to those that have trouble balancing their respective check books (I've used Quicken to solve that life challenge early on).

On the most part Turbo Tax software was good and smooth. However, it was a little frustrating to discover are the review/check for errors section there were unanswered questions. The questions were unanswered because they were never presented when completed the forms. To correct something that were never presented, tells me something is very wrong. I hope that this fixed by the next tax year. Thank you.

I have used TurboTax Deluxe for several years; it always did a great job, But, this year my daughter is in graduate school overseas. She does not have a loan through the school, but we are using 529 funds for tuition and related expenses. The school does not have an EIN; there should be a means to allow for this, but TurboTax insisted on having this before it would efile.

I've been using TurboTax since before it was TurboTax (TaxEdge). Don't know What I'd do without it. Deluxe is good enough for small businesses, Suggestions - would be nice to have the program be a little more touch friendly for those of us with touch screens - like not having to use the bar on the side to scroll the forms - just touch the page and pull it up or down. Used 2 fingers diagonally to expand or contract the window size.

I had a BIG problem with TurboTax this year because when I started my return and then logged out to get information, it refused to relaunch which meant I had to delete the file and start all over again. Very annoying, although I saw on some online message pages that many people were having the same problem. I've been using TurboTax for years and never encountered this problem so I was very disappointed.
