I bought this in December, and was largely unable to use it until Late January, even then it had numerous bugs, mainly in the Energy credits pages that kept me from filing until February 13 (I'm waiting to see if they are rejected forte 4th time).

You continue to move toward an online product and remove features. I've used this product for MANY years and did for 2025. I will be trying a different product for 2026.

I would like the option to just use standard at the beginning instead of having to input all my information just to use the standard deductions anyway.

It stated I could efile both federal and state for free then it said I had to pay $25 with a $10 discount to file State. After I Efiled federal it wants me to pay $40 more!!!

It would be a good thing to return to the "next" group rather than the top of the list when a section of the return is finished. Having to step down through all of the previously completed sections.

I've been using Turbo Tax for years because it's very easy to work and accurate; however, this is the first year I filed electronically. Boy, what a surprise when I learned that my "free" e-filing is going to cost $65 in banking fees. WT Heck?

I've been using TurboTax for over thirty years and its accuracy, features and guidance has always been spot on. I use the step by step process and it breaks down things in an easy to understand manner. Will definitely continue to use this product.

2025 Turbo Tax did not have any selection or guidance for entering Overtime that was not in Box 14 on W2. Required forms and entries required manual entries.

The desktop version is my go-to tax prep. The simple step by step easily guide most taxpayers. The option to look at specific forms is easy. Taxes remain complicated but Turbo Tax takes the complication out of the equation

For a newbie this product is not very helpful. TurboTax did not explain that New York City residents have to pay city taxes separately from state taxes if their non-NY based employer does not withhold them from the paycheck.
