For the past four years we have used the standard deduction but have had to itemize all our info before we were directed to use the standard deduction. Why can't I just use the standard deduction without gathering all the other information?

I had what I thought might be a difficult tax situation this year due to the sale of an investment property in North Carolina. But TurboTax handled it all very easily and all my returns have been filed. Taxes paid too, unfortunately.

I have used TurboTax and MacinTax before it for at least 20 years. I have found the software to be relatively easy to use and understand. I encourage everyone to try it.

I've used TurboTax for many years, works great but charging $25 at the end of process after program said 1 state is free at the beginning is not right. I also paid the $80 to download versus online.

The changes you made to your program are not good, and I'm tired of the continuing requests to add new services/options (at additional costs) to my tax return as I enter data into the program.

California state taxes require too much manual entry when the same information is on last year's tax return. Not sure why TT doesn't carry over the state data and require such a manual review and manual entry of data.

Turbo Tax is not allowing me to file. I have entered payment information and driver's license information and it is now asking me to do it again. Certainly harder to accomplished than in the years past when we had the disc.
