Nickel and Dime

You nickel and dime folks. Everything is extra with you guys. People don't file with turbotax because they want to, they file because they have to. You and the others comes down to the least expensive. It is a race to the bottom.

Won't work with windows 10

Didn't know that this version only worked with windows 11. I did have a PC with windows 11 but I wanted to use it on my other PC with windows 10. Why did you make it to only work with windows 11?

Mostly OK but turned south at the end.

Worked well until the end, an absolute pain to pay for my filing fee for state return. I completed on a laptop and the buttons do not show on the screen, have to tab thru and randomly hit enter in hopes that it works. Took a few tries to do.

Why are we still relying on these companies.

The idea that corporations can lobby to ensure their existence is ridiculous. The government knows what I did and didn't do. Why do I have to file my taxes. They have the money already, they did the calculation already.

I like the detailed step-by-step instructions to walk me thru the process and docs. Would like to have better search help for forms or docs that show where these should be entered. The AI was little or no help for questions.
