Turbo Tax has been my go to software to prepare Tax return for more than 30 years. The key reason for me is accuracy, interface (especially the step by step vs using the form) for data entry. The E-file also compliment the product and make the whole Tax submission process a breeze.

Went through the program with Turbo Tax guiding me. I always do it this way so that I don't miss anything and the software let's me know if there is anything new for the year. This went smooth this year as the explanations in each screen were really good this year.

I didn't like it compared to past years, I forget why I have to buy Premier so i don't get charged so much at the end of filing my taxes. I had a few issues Turbo Tax, Like I needed to open my 2024 taxes & it had to update & then wouldn't let me in without the activation Key!! I don't keep the activation key for Taxes I already completed Last year, but I guess I learned my Lesson. Also why would I go on line to do turbo tax after I purchased the software? I kept getting pushed in the beginning to go with online version. maybe if it was free to file my taxes. it was difficult to add donations, last year and years before, I logged into intuit & filled out a form, this year I just didn't add anything due to time and difficulty with your system, kind of stressful & confusing through out.

Although I have been using TurboTax for over 25 years, this year was the most accravating. Although I realize that the very recent tax changes have caused a lot of the constant updates and recycling back to subjects already covered and the messages about updates, this was the absolute hardest/time consuming ever.

I had one problem by adding a 1099-R manually and several days later I downloaded my brokerage accounts which duplicated my 1099-r revenue cause a a duplicate revenue. I could not delete the extra 1099-r revenue so I started a new return and added my downloaded brokerage first, and then added the other expenses which in my case were not a problem for me. Every thing else was processed with minor errors in the return check provided by turbotax

Have been using Turbo Tax for at least two decades and find it to be a superior, mostly easy-to-use product. This year, I had a problem entering 1099-Qs for my granddaughters Maryland 529 account. After several attempts to generate a worksheet, I learned by trial and error that when entering more than one 1099-Q, the worksheets had to be assigned a different name. The instructions were not clear

I have successfully used TurboTax desktop for Mac for many years. This 2025 year, things went reasonably well, but with a few more hitches than before. The first issue was that TurboTax failed to complete its update, hanging on extracting the update. I had to trash the version I had and go back to the website to obtain the latest download. The second issue was that it failed to print vouchers or in factany information about my state estimated 2026 taxes. I needed to go to Forms, select the proper page, and grab a screenshot.

I have to file form 4852 (Substitute 1099R) because of some foreign income sources and need to have a statement with it. The form itself says fill out the "Employer's or payer's TIN (if known)" so I left it blank. Yet, the efile does not let me file without putting a number in here even though the IRS itself says to put in only "if known". The efile should allow this to be filed without this field being completed.

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. The Step by Step process is so easy to use and I have never had any problems with Any of my returns. They have all been accurate as I have never been audited or questioned. I have never had a reason to want to try any other Tax Prep Program.

Your "info" button doesn't provide enough information to know if something applies or not. Also I hate the On-Line version. If you ever get rid of the regular TurboTax (downloadable version) I will no longer use TurboTax. I've been a customer for about 30 years.
