IRA issues

It's difficult to get help with specific questions. I was not able to get answers to questions about IRA conversions from Simple IRA to a Roth IRA. All I needed was to find where to check to see if the amount was entered. A document search would be helpful

I think that Turbo Tax is awesome.

i have been using Turbo Tax now for many years. I have found the product to be very interactive, informative and well produced. I think that the makers have put a lot of thought into making it better every year and have included all up to date and relevant tax information for us as users to use and get the results we are all seeking and that is to get our tax returns done in accordance with our tax laws. Kudos to Turbo tax for this excellent product.

HATE TURBOTAX25 DELUXE

THIS IS THE WORST TURBOTAX VERSION I HAVE EVER USED!!!! MULTIPLE GLITCHES IN SOFTWARE, HAD TO UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL THE PROGRAM 3 TIMES DUE TO IT DIDN'T WANT TO EFILE FEDERAL TAX RETURN. IT SAID IT WAS SUCESSFUL, THEN SAID IT FAILED BECAUSE I WAS NOT ELIGIBLE............NOT HAPPY WITH TURBOTAX THIS YEAR. NEVER HAD THESE PROBLEMS BEFORE.

Less than great

I have been using TT for more than 25 years. This was the worst experience that I have ever had. An example... You insisted that I give you the name and state and zip code of my employer before you could submit my return. That might seem reasonable except that I had already told you that I was retired with no employers, no self-employment, and definitely no employment credits requested.

Credit card month has a bug

I tried to pay with my refund, but it costs an extra $40, so that was a non-starter. I went back to use a credit card and it took forever to use various credits cards due to the fact a user is unable to select a month for the expiration date >8 (August). I have credit cards that expire on 12, 11 and 10. It was very frustrating.

Great program, but issue with 1099 importing.

The first page you see when you go to enter 1099-INT or DIV info, by importing the forms, is a new format that I haven't seen in the past. In trying to use that new page, I found myself trying to import some forms, and then that same new-format page would appear again, unchanged, as if I hadn't done anything yet. I called for live TurboTax help, and they figured out that Fidelity, the company whose forms I was trying to import, had not yet posted those forms. But it took a bit of digging to figure that out -- seems like there should have been some clear up-front message to that effect when I tried to do the import.

TURBOTAX NEEDS IMPROVMENTS

You need better information on box 4a concerning IRAs, pensions, etc. My RMDs and my wife's pension forms do not have any 4a nor 4b fields. It was very confusing to me as to what to do. I had to go online and try to figure what amount I needed to use in the field. I left it blank and I hope that was the correct thing to do. I have used your product for many years no and this is the first year that I have been disappointed with your software. I hope next year will be better. If not I will stop using your software.

TurboTax - Always Expecting The Best

Expecting the best from TurboTax is something I look forward to each year at tax time. We have been doing our taxes with TurboTax for more years than I can remember. We have never had an audit or ever had to deal with a mistaked on our Federal or State returns. The step-by-step guidance furnished by the program is without equal. We have confidently recommended TurboTax to others for years. We will continue to use and recommend in the years to come.

I have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years

When I first downloaded Turbo Tax Software it asked for password I could not figure out. It took me quite a while to understand the code was my computer login code. I can't remember what Turbo Tax called it, but it certainly did not say "your computer log-in code". It was very confusing !!!

Uses a different License every time you continue!

In past years, it didn't matter how many times I went into Turbo Tax to continue my returns without having to use another license. This year, every time I went in to continue my returns, I have to use another license! So now, I either have to do my taxes all in one sitting, or I have to buy more than one Turbo Tax program! Rip off!
