I like Turbo Tax - However Two Things: One, we had a required RMD distribution from an IRA and a second, non-required distribution from the same account - I felt the way that TT handled the pair was confusing as to how to designate which was the required RMD and which was an ordinary non-scheduled withdrawal. Secondly: I want to print a final copy of my 1040, including ES Payment Vouchers - However the only final copy T offers to print at the end of filing produces a "COPY - DO NOT FILE" watermark on the copies, including on the Voucher receipts I would use to mail in my quarterly ES tax payments. ???

not as user friendly as used to be couple of years before could not download some of the tax document from the brokers as few does not give document no: needed to import document. did not have sign in option to import documents .it used to be that way before. also had trouble down load software in my computer. need to get help. keep in mind seniors who does not have that tech. skill. make it simple and user friendly like before. I have been using turbotax for many years . it used to be very user friendly .

Love it. I have been a user for years; only downside recently is that the desktop app is constantly asking to add more "priced" options, as well as, getting users to try the "online" version, which worries me. I fear it is a forewarning of intention to future non support of desktop versions. I hope I am wrong. I love the product, as is, and having been using it for decades....

TurboTax is a very good product, and couple that with Quicken and one can't lose. They say that income taxes are a year-round project and they are right, but with Quicken around during the year it keeps track of everything for its eventual transfer to TurboTax at tax time. Love them!

I have been using turbo tax for about 25 years. Every year the product gets worse with more glitches and every year the customer service gets worse. This year, the state retun won't print. I don't get any errors. I just get two blank pages where the state return should be. The supporting schedules show up fine. If I try to save to PDF, I get the same 2 blank pages.

I HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR OVER 10 YEARS BUT WHAT HAPPENED THIS YEAR? I COULD NOT DOWNLOAD MY VANGUARD 1099 (MY PASSWORD DID NOT WORK - MAYBE BECAUSE I USE FACIAL RECOGNITION? I TRIED USING JUST MY PASSWORD BUT IT DIDN'T WORK). THE CHARITABLE DEDUCTION SCREENS WERE CONFUSING. I GIVE MY RMD TO A CHARITY AND FINDING THE QCD OPTION WAS DIFFICULT TO LOCATE. OVERALL WHAT USED TO BE A STRAIGHT FORWARD FILING TURNED INTO A LONG PROCESS OF CHECKING EVERY ENTRY TO MAKE SURE IT WAS ON THE RIGHT FORM AND RIGHT LINE.

Turbo Tax is helpful and comprehensive and covers most of the issues that could come up. It helps me get my taxes organized and then filed in a reasonable time. I did need an expert to answer a couple of questions which they did well. I found it helpful to be able to look at the actual tax forms as well as the step by step portion. I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years now with no problems or an audit!

I bought Turbo Tax Desktop because I did not want to use Turbo Tax Online. I don't need multiple reminders that Turbo Tax Online is available, I chose my product thank you very much. I live in Texas, a no income tax state. When I file and choose Federal and State, it is smart enough to tell me I don't have to file a state retrun, why not just position to Federal only?

Using Turbo Tax is easy. They guide you through every step of the way. They breakout down in sections and provide specific explanations where you may need more info. I have used Turbo Tax for 15 years and always had a pleasant experience using the software.

Worse experience ever from long time user. Cant understand why turbo tax has to be updated multiple time in the same day. cannot understand why the updates take an inordinate amount of time to update. Had to wait in excess of half an hour for the updates. Appeared to freeze up at the 4 minute hold mark. Also had to get another version of Adome in order to print returns.
