The product works as expected, but there is 1 huge area that needs resolving, We need a version of TurboTax released before Jan 15 of the tax year, so retired users can get a good estimate of the Federal Tax so they can adjust their final Federal Estimated tax payment before January 15. The preliminary version of TurboTax released prior to January 15 is so unusable and incomplete that it cannot be used to estimate your taxes.

The tax experts were very helpful although I had one of the questions that did not fully explain what it meant and the experts could not find the problem. I was able to answer the question differently and the income went into pensions instead of other income. Problem solved! Thanks for the help from your team!

Too many errors in the program. Can't print state returns and can't get the link to work that will notify me when I can print it. Had to wait to install numbers in the 1099R section and that link to notofy me only sent me to a form that wasn't relevent. The program for helping with donations is now missing, That was always extremly helpful in tha past.

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years. I've had no issues with your software except the past few years. I file and select review taxes for errors, and it always says that no errors can be found only to receive an email that says my returns have been rejected! Now I can't seem to recall the reasons for past return rejections but on this year return it says that the reason for the rejection was that I didn't put in my IP Pin. I know that I did this for both my wife and myself, but it was still rejected. I used the same 5-digit pin that I've been using for the past years. So, in the action email it says the following: Once you've opened your return in TurboTax, the details about what needs updating will be displayed and that TurboTax will walk me through on how to correct the issue. Well, I did this and there was nothing about what needed to be updated. So, I had to redownload my return onto TurboTax and file an amendment. Why does this happen??? When you review a return for errors this should have been found and could have easily been correct before e filing!

The changes made from TT for downloading instead of providing a disc was different. I realize that was a business decision because it costs money to produce a CD instead of making customer do a download from their computer. Once the download was done there was a LOT of UPSALE that was not necessary. TT should really stop that because it is quite annoying. Just saying.

Same old Turbotax. First few entry times there were entries that failed to propagate to other forms as required. I had to make several manual entries to make the return work properly mechanically. You should at least try to have your code pass its situation tests before releasing it.

I've been a TurboTax user for years and have always appreciated the ease it has provided from year to year and the features it provides in switching from topic mode to form mode, etc. The issue this year seemed to be in changes to the way the import was done. It was messy for me -- it didn't get everything I needed and when I went back to get the rest it reloaded what I had and still didn't get everything. I had to manually delete all forms imported and start over.

I always use the guide me step by step feature. The one thing that is annoying is that after answering each individual question I am returned to the menu at the top and must scroll down to where I left off. Why not return me to my latest position to avoid all the scrolling? Very time consuming.

I am an 83 year old male who wanted to see if I could file on my own instead of paying hundreds of dollars to a CPA. I tried to do it on my own but I got stymied when it came to stocks. I tried Turbo Tax and they walked me through each expense. It was easy and actually fun. Will use them for my 2026 filing also.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOAD NOT AT ALL WHAT I ENCOUNTERED. HAD TO FIND MY OWN WAY AND GUESS ALOT. BEGINNING A NEW RETURN ON A DIFFERENT DAY AFTER CLOSING TURBO TAX WAS ALSO DIFFICULT TO FIND MY WAY. ALTOGETHER I DON'T THINK I WILL PURCHASE TURBO TAX AGAIN AFTER USING IT FOR MANY YEARS. Allen
