I have used Turbo-Tax for at least 15 years and have always been satisfied. I never have been audited nor sent notice of an error. I did not use the tax advice feature but I did use the help desk to fix an loading error. Young lady that helped was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Had a very nice conversation as we waited for the fix to be implemented.

I am now 71 years old and have used Turbo Tax for over 25 years! Not sure I could have done my own taxes all these years without Turbo Tax. I continue to urge younger folks to try it versus paying hundreds of dollars to "so call" tax experts to simply file a short form! Turbo Tax might want to launch an ad campaign targeted to younger folks (under age 40) about preparing their own taxes. Most people those ages are already "computer literate."

I like turbo tax but there are errors in the program for filing an amended return for 2025. 1) it doesn't print the 1099-x form. all other forms print but only a blank page for it. Even with going directly to the form itself. 2) there are mixed messages regarding electronic filing for an amended return. The info indicates that electronic filing is possible but the step by step says it must be printed and mailed

I thought the program saved as it went. That was not my case. After entering information, I clicked continue, a colorful circle appeared for 20 minutes. I decided the program froze and rebooted. When I went back into the program it did not give me a chance to continue. I had to retype all the information into the program again. Not happy that I had to do this a second time. this time I saved as I went.

Intuit needs to make it much easier to begin TurboTax tax preparation. The intuit website should have a prominent prompt where you can enter your username, password and your service key to begin the application. I don't need to be sent off into other windows trying to sell me expert tax advisors. give me a way to begin my tax preparation immediately. Also, in the past the charitable giving valuation tool has been useful. Not having it this year made me have to find the value of my charitable offerings from other sources which added hours to my time preparing my taxes.

Turbo Tax has become the most expensive tax software and always includes annoying bugs. This year it gets hung up asking for information about Canadian Railroad Income. Had to work around the annoying glitch to move forward. At least add a free state file to compensate for the higher prices.

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and am extremely impressed and satisfied with the ease of input and accuracy. Due to the Windows 11 requirement I purchased a new PC today to begin inputting my return just because Turbo Tax is such a great product.

TurboTax is very easy to use. Helps you every step of the way with guidance when needed. I recommend this software to anyone who wants to do their taxes (if they feel confident) rather than having to pay someone else to do them for you. You can't go wrong. I have been using them since 2003 and never had an issue.

REVIEW OF PRIOR ENTRIES WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT, UNLIKE IN PRIOR YEARS. A FALSE CLAIM THAT OUR RETURNS HAD BEEN FILED, WHEN IN FACT THEY HAD NOT, COULD HAVE BEEN COSTLY. FYI, THE LATE SUBMISSION OF A PIN NUMBER, RESULTED IN AN AUTOMATED CLAIM THAT FILING HAD OCCURRED. NO EMAIL CONFIRMING SAME FOLLOWED. LOCATION OF THE FILE AND RETURN SECTION WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. FILING OCCURRED 24 HOURS AFTER ORIGINAL CLAIM OF SUCCESSFUL FILING.

This year 2025 filing. This is the worst turbo tax I have ever used. Got a problem. Follow these helpful tips. Good luck. Just try to follow the tips that lead to a loop with no way to find the recommend options. The options ARE NOT TO BE FOUND. DID YOU MISS SOMETHING?? WE'RE HERE TO HELP WITH SUGGESTIONS THAT LEAD NO WHERE. GOOD LUCK NEVER HAD THESE DEAD ENDS IN THE PAST.
