I have had many years of great software experience with Intuit TurboTax product. This 2025 product was not up to previous products. I bought download product and I had to wait to complete my tax return because of incomplete information. Even having completed my taxes I cannot print out my State until features are 'fixed.' This is a first!

I spent hours entering all my information and just before filing, I ran the software update. After the update installed and relaunched, ALL MY DATA WAS GONE. The software never asked to save my data, and I didn't think I had to save manually. (MacOS 26.2) Big fail!!!

After completing my returns and preparing to file, I did what I've done every year, stopped to print a copy to a pdf and then to paper. When I went to print, the files were all missing. Went back to look for them and they were all gone. Top-to bottom search of the entire computer, trashcan, cloud, -everywhere possible. GONE. Guess how much I enjoyed doing my taxes twice. :(

Very disappointed in the $40 Refund Processing Fee that is dropped on the tax payer in the final steps- dishonest, unethical and other unpleasant terms. You won't print this and don't care; it's all about ,money. Turbo tax is becoming as expensive as private tax preparer; watch out you may lose customers.

I have been using Turbo Tax Home & Business, and now Deluxe, for well over 15 years and it keeps getting better! I really appreciate the way it guides you through each section with very through explanations when you have questions. I have never had any issues using the software and have confidence the calculations are accurate and all situations are covered. I highly recommend it.

Much more difficult to use than previous years. $40 option is presented as the ONLY option at first glance. Only after reading several times did I realize I didn't have to use that option, but by then I just wanted to be done with it. I am already sorry I did so. It is just another place for my information to be compromised, with personal data being shared all over the world. I will be considering an alternative to Turbo Tax next year.

The program itself is as good as always. my complaint is that you can't download to windows10. What the heck is that. I have used TurboTax for years and never had this problem before. This will probably be my last year for TurboTax since I don't want to buy a new computer.

Disappointing that retirement planning was not available when program was issued. It would have been nice to have that information available to help decide on the amount of RMD to take on IRAs to determine the taxable income and brackets. Another area that needs vast improvement is when entering individual sales of stock. When you need to enter multiple entries with the same stock from different quarterly purchases of dividends and then their sale you are unable to copy and paste the stock description. Typing each entry when there are 50 to 75 entries is both unnecessarily tedious and frustrating. The rest of the program and entry is fairly straight forward and easy to use. I have used Turbo Tax for many years without any other major criticisms.

I really like using TurboTax to process my federal and state income tax returns. HOWEVER, the trick that was pulled this year (of having to have Windows 11 to process the return was sneaky and underhanded! i feel taking advantage of by Intuit and Microsoft and feel there was a handshake agreement between the two companies to make more money for shareholders. I went out and bought a new computer to process and file my return but when it's no longer compatible with whatever year TurboTax, I will go to a tax company and have them complete my return....bye, bye TurboTax! Additionally, after I learned and was shocked that I needed a 64 bit computer and my 32 bit wouldn't work with TT, I started a return on the internet version. What a piece of junk!!! It was difficult to follow and the "impoting" function is a joke. There are only 6-8 companies available for import and I think I could only use one out of the seven I needed. I will not be going down that route again!!

It's been many years that I use Turbo Tax for my own filing. I like the step by step for some topics but I like to have the form option for other sections. I find the fee that Intuit charges for filing state taxes excessive. Again, for the second year, I am not pleased with the fully download setup. Maybe I am getting old, but the CD versions seemed to give me more sense of security. Maybe since they do not have to produce the CD versions and only offer the download, there should be no fee to file state taxes. But that would be detrimental to the profit margin.
