Turbotax is trusted.

I always purchase Turbotax product ahead of time ( October or November ) whenever they drop it in my inbox. Today when I was completing my return, I was asked many times to purchase it again. If this is normal I will stop purchasing the product early.

Love Turbo Tax but Ran Into a Glitch this Year

I love Turbo Tax but this year decided to pay one of the MD Tax return fee with a credit card. all went fine until I had to enter the expiration Date which was 12/29. I could enter everything else except the 12 in the expiration date. I could go up to the 08 month but could not enter anything after 08. I ended up using another credit card that was 05/29 and it worked fine. Possible bug?

Very Good Product

Generally, an excellent product, which I have used for many years now. I was a bit put off by being told after updating that the program would re-start. It didn't. Also, the buttons that say "update" do not make it clear if one needs to revisit the item or let it go.

Its deductible no longer in the software

Turbotax is an excellent product that helped us though complex scenarios for our 2025 taxes. I would have given the rating a 5 star, but my only issue was that the "its deductible feature" is no longer in the software to price out donations of clothing and household items. Turbo Tax says they will come up with "something", with no timeframe. We moved this year and donated many items . We used that feature many times in the past years. Doing each of the 140 donated items as an individual item in this software would be an enormous task and thus not doable for us

Last year was better

Everything worked, but I don't like the new format. Too many extraneous pages. Also the PIN input is hard to find. This should pop up automatically. The Direct Deposit information should default rather than typing it in. It comes up automatically, if you want to change banks.

Great Product but ...

I have used Turbo Tax for many years but this year I found something a little inaccurate. Once I e-filed and printed my tax return for my files I noticed that the 1040-ES payment voucher amounts were inaccurate. I owed the government $2,412 but the individual payment vouchers were $584 each for a total of $2,336 vice $2,412. A difference of $76. How is this possible? Other than this I have always enjoyed using Turbo Tax.

Good but a concern shared

TurboTax has been good. However, i feel my income was calculated incorrectly...I had to report a W-2G, but it wasnt income as i lost the same amount throughout the year...I was able to itemize my losses...However, the amount on the W2-G was added to my income and ended up putting me in the next tax bracket, even though it wasnt technically income, so i lost money from my refund. This doesnt seem right, so figured id share.

TT is difficult if have multi investment sources

The method of checking downloaded information is difficult to follow because there is nothing on the initial screen that tells you which goes with which account. We have atleast 2 of everything. At least put the last 4 digits of the account on each box in the interest and dividend section

A basic, mediorce product: Avoid

I have used TurboTax for over 30 years. For the past two years, it has gotten worse. It used to import my information from my Quicken and made doing taxes easy. In the past two years, it lost it's interaction ability. I have to do a lot more work. It's a mediorce product at best. If you can, use another, better product.

TurboTax FAILS

The first major problem was that the download did not download properly and it took three attempts, The second major problem was that the initial screen on my laptop would not show the full screen, which it finally did the second day I opened turbotax. The third major problem was the instructions were not clear 10% of the time and definitely a complete failure for state pensions paid as a monthly annuity. The fourth major problem was the constant pop-up barrage of the company wanting to download from a limited list of financial institutions each and every time you make any entry. And finally, to add to all of this, when I entered my credit card number and saved it to pay filing fees and audit defense, the expiration date was incorrect so card not accepted. I went back 6 times and tried to put in the correct expiration month and Turbotax would not change the correct month to a 10. I then tried my Visa card and ONLY AFTER ANOTHER 6 ATTEMPTS AT ENTERING THE CORRECT MONTH, DID IT FINALLY WORK. 2025 Turbotax was LOUSY and I may NEVER use again after 20+ years of doing so. You should reimburse users the cost of the product for such defective programming.
