There are a number of things that are annoying, and they are annoying each year. For example. If I want to go to do income and I click on it. EVERY SINGLE TIME.. I have to first confirm what I want to keep or remove as income items and THEN make the choice whether to walk through or to choose what to work on. Doing that once is fine, but every single time I want to work on something, or go back and forth, it is just a pointless pain. Second, the help/search for help is SLOOOOOOW. Not really even usable.

I've used Turbo Tax for decades an it usually goes smoothly. For some reason in completing my 2025 tax return it recommended it recommended standard deduction in which I owed ~$6500 in Fed taxes. Knowing I am better off itemizing I forced the software to go through an itemized deduction. It then came back saying I owe ~$2500. A $4000 benefit because I did not follow it's original recommendation.

I have used Turbotax for 25 some years. For the first time I could not download by state return. Your professional agents spent the hours needed to diagnose the problem, make the corrections needed, and get my PC to working order. All at no extra charge. THANK YOU ALL.

I had the pleasure of working with Daniat from Maryland. She worked with me with patience and professionalism. The day before I began the process of starting my taxes I ran into several issues, which were extremely frustrating. The following day I called customer service and received the support that I needed to complete my taxes. I have been using turbo tax for the past 7 years and will continue to use it in the future . Although turbo tax is designed for all to use individual the team support staff is always and eager to assist when called upon. Another great experience. Thank You!

Turbo Tax Deluxe use to be great and used it for decades. I had a CD with a person to guide you. Now its a download like any other online program. The questions are not easy to understand and there is no side bar to jump to a sub-section. You make people enter a lot of information, or skip constantly, before offering to take a standard deduction. You would think that after all these years, you would offer a discount to prior users. I expected more from such an expensive version of Turbo Tax.

I SPOKE WITH 5 TURBOTAX AGENTS TRYING TO CORRECT A PROBLEM OF NOT BEING ABLE TO EFILE. THERE WAS NO DATA ENTERED THAT SHOULD HAVE TRIGGERED THE PROBLEM. NO ONE COULD FIND A REASON FOR THE DENIAL. THE FIFTH AGENT, WHO THE OTHERS CALLED AN EXPERT, COULD NOT FIND A REASON FOR THE GLITCH EITHER. SO SHE DID A PROGRAM RE[LACEMENT WHICH SOLVED THE PROBLEM. ALL OF THE AGENTS WERE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS, COURTEOUS AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.

I have been using TurboTax (MaxinTax) for almost 30 years. This year's was the hardest to use. Several "resources" were harder to understand than the reason for clicking on them in the first place. As I finished the task, TurboTax offered me the choice of receiving my refund by direct Deposit or Check. As always, I chose by check, understanding it might take a little longer to receive. There was no notice that the IRS had changed their policy on writing checks almost a year ago. I am still waiting for my check. I went to the TurboTax website to see if any notices were there. Since that time my email inbox has been flooded with "reminders" to file my taxes. Quite irritating.

Disappointed with the user interface. Not intuitive at all, less-so than 2024. Found ourselves going around in circles navigating to specific portions of broader groupings. Annoying that program keeps repeatedly re-asking same questions when going back and forward. We understand dependencies require that sometimes. I'm a software engineer with 40+ years experience. Poorly designed UI. Today's chatbots can even write it better. Just one (of many) suggestions: When editing a financial institution form, always place the account name at the top so you know what account you are in (and also for the subsequent follow-up questions.) Ending on a positive note, content and ability to calculate taxes appears to work OK.

Good product in general, some special tax situations need improvement. Specifically, TurboTax did not know how to handle w-2s from two different states where one state's w-2 had all the federal and state info on it and the 2nd state's w-2 had only that state's income info in boxes 15, 16 and 17, but nothing entered in box 1. AI told me I had to add that info to the 1st w-2 within turbotax so that I only had one w-2 from the same employer. I was getting an error with e-filing when I tried to use both of the w-2 forms that were sent to me.

I have been using Turbo Tax for at least the past 10 years. I like the ability to either let them guide me or work on each area (I use the latter option). I like that they will start my current year’s return with information from the previous year. Saves data entry. I took one afternoon to fill in everything then another afternoon to review and file. My taxes are straightforward - all income is reported, no debt, no dependents, etc. so I do not know if I would have opted to use a tax accountant if my life were more complicated. But so far so good.
