Received my 'SmartWash PET Complete Automatic Carpet Cleaner' this week March 2021. Used it on a large rug that sits underneath our dining table. Wow! It is extremely easy to use and cleaned the rug beautifully. The process is just as advertised. Set up is straightforward and easy to understand. Push the cleaner to deep clean the carpet/rug and Pull the cleaner back slowly to suck up the water and solution. Could not be happier! Our one year old Havanese puppy used a corner of our Dining Room rug at times when we were not looking. The cleaner, along with the included HOOVER Pet cleaning solution, worked as expected to deep clean the area leaving it spotless and odorless. The instruction booklet is small and I am old. I found the manual at HOOVER online which made it much easier to read. MY ONLY COMPLAINT (Other than me being old): The manual does not have a section that details how to use the 'Upholstery Tool'. It shows the process with the included hose and PET accessory tool, but not the 'Upholstery Tool', which I want to use on our dining set chairs. I've sent a request for information to HOOVER online. BOTTOM LINE: I hardly ever review products, and I never received a request from HOOVER to do so, but this product deserved the effort. If you are looking for an amazing Carpet Cleaner that is easy to use and will effectively clean PET residue, this is the carpet cleaner for you. I highly recommend this cleaner.

My cat had pottied on the carpet and I needed to clean it. I decided to clean the entire room. After reading ratings and reviews I decided on the Hoover SmartWash. The pretreat wand is really helpful and the dry only option significantly reduces drying time. Great product.

I have cream carpeting and two pets that dislike beds and chose to sleep on the carpet. Needless to say this machine makes it so easy to clean the carpet, and it works the best out of all the others I have had over a lifetime. I also love your carpet shampoos'.

I'm in LOVE with this product. I've had it only 3 months, but I don't know how to live without it anymore!!! I can keep it filled and ready to go, and it is as easy as using a vacuum to treat pet puddles when they occur. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and does a WONDERFUL job!!! Better than the large units that you might rent at a grocery store to shampoo your carpets with- and owning it makes me wonder how i ever thought that spraying and soaking up carpet cleaner along with my pet's messes was adequately clean in any way!!! Just after the winter ice storm/ polar vortex in February when I was using this thing 3X a day as all my pets refused to step outside in the highly unusual cold, it just stopped working. Hoover customer service has been great- they are sending a replacement soon! I'm happy with this solution for the issue, but for a couple things. 1. the inconvenience of going without a shampooer for the 2-3 weeks it will take to get a new unti 2. the disposable nature of this whole deal. I don't want to add trash to a landfill after having only owned this thing for 3 months. the sad fact is that I would pay triple for this unit if it's gears and other insides were made of metal and replacement parts were sold. But this seems to be the way that we do business in the US these days... I just wish that we could do more to make things last and be repairable.

I bought this because it offers lots of cool features. However, some of these features are more restrictive than helpful. For example, push forward and it washes. Then pull back it dries. The problem is trying to work a stain out. You sometimes need a good wash before you can dry it. Instead going back and forth ends up getting part of the stain out and drying the rest of the stain into the carpet. It has a button for "dry" only but doesnt have a button for "wash only". Sometimes you need a deep cleaning before you dry it. This isnt for deep cleaning stains from kids and dogs. If it did, i would be a perfect shampooer. Unfortunately now that i have used a few times, i can't take return it. I am now forced to buy another shampooer to get the remaining stain out of the carpet.

The video is of my enclosed porch where my muddy dogs come in from outside and get wiped off. I was amazed at how much dirt and dog hair it pulled out. I have only used this one time. I will update my review if I experience any of the issues some other customers have experienced, but for now I am extremely happy with this Smart Wash Pet Complete Carpet Cleaner!

SmartWash Pet Complete has many great features and is easy to use. We were certain we needed to replace the carpet in our newly purchased home until we used this machine. We were amazed at how many stains it removed so quickly. It has an option for suction only to ensure the carpets dry quickly. It is a smartly designed, user friendly cleaner with a ton of power and is easier than vacuuming. I will recommend SmartWash Pet Complete to my friends.

I love this machine! *Used to use a competitors brand that starts with Biss* THIS machine is so easy, you just put the solution/water in their designated tanks & push it back & forth.. It does all the work & dries carpet very quickly! My other steamcleaner was always so difficult to clean. This machine is Easy to clean, every part pops on/off easily. Seriously like 5 minute clean up max. Purchased march 2021. My first one didn't work right so I emailed customer service - they emailed me back quick with replacement. When I received the new unit I boxed the old one up & they scheduled pick up. So, not only would I recommend this machine, but I also highly praise Hoovers customer service team. If you're deciding between brands, HOOVER is the way to go!!!

This Machine is a total piece of Junk. I purchased this unit and within a year the motor went out of it and the rollers wouldn't work. I made a claim with Hoover and took a picture of the cord cut and sticker removed and they sent me a new one. Now 2 years later maybe less the motor is grinding and smells like it is on fire. With a replacement these things are junk and do not last for the price you pay.

I really loved this product for about a month, then the soap dispenser started leaking very bad, occasionally after cleaning it after using it the dry only cycle will stay on so have to let it set for several days, the spot wand clogged and took me a very long time to unclog it, the front part that cover ls the brushes shifts easily during use which then cause the machine to act as though the dirty container is full so then i have to shut it off remove front and readjust it ans start again and this will usually happen within a hour prob 5 times. I normally love the Hoover brand but this shampooer has been a MAJOR headache!!.
