The Hoover SmartWash PET Carpet Cleaner is the best. I have 4 dogs that run free in our pasture in the CO Mountains. They track in lots of dirt. I got this carpet cleaner a couple of weeks ago and it is amazing. It works on the toughest of stains. I have a Persian cat and she sheds like crazy. Not only does this carpet cleaner work on stains, it also gets the small bits of fur that my vacuum leaves behind. It is very easy to use. It's as easy as just vacuuming. If you are looking to buy a good carpet cleaner, I definitely recommend that you invest in this one.

I to was having problems off and on with my carpet cleaner not sucking up the dirty water. I had used it once about six months ago, cleaned it very good after first use and now it would not suck up dirty water. Finally figured out I didn't have the lid snugly on the dirty water tank. There are two holes in the very front of the bottom part of dirty water tank and two pegs in the top part of the tank. You must slide those pegs into those holes first then lower the back of dirty water tank down and then put it back on the carpet cleaner. If it is not in properly, when you start carpet cleaner you can feel air suction around where the dirty water tank lid and bottom fit together. I was about to think mine was a piece of junk! Then figured out it was me!!!! I would not take anything for my SmartWash PET Carpet Cleaner. I love everything about it and would give it ten starts if possible.

As a parent to 4 four-legged furry children who insist on dispersing mud, vomit, hair balls and any other "presents" this vacuum has been a total game changer. My previous shampooers always left wet spots that seemed to take days to dry. With the dry only button on this vacuum, that's been eliminated. The front console is very easy to take off and rinse out if hair builds up. It's also easy to access the brushes to do the same. Highly recommend.

Between four dogs, a toddler, and my mechanic husband, it seems like I'm always cleaning some mess off my carpet. Before purchasing this I had a Bissell; that worked fine for small messes but for stains that already set or muddy paw prints it barely helped. To compensate I was hiring professionals because it dried so much faster and I wouldn't have to keep going over the stain. No more! This machine will pay for itself in less than a year. What I love...It is lighter than my other machines and cleans about a 12 inch swath on each pass. I never liked leaving solution in my carpet so the fact that I can pull the solution bottle and rinse is awesome. The tanks are perfectly sized and very easy to clean. Everything on the machine is easy to take apart, clean and put back together. I cleaned my bedroom carpet a couple of hours ago and it is almost dry. Having 4 dogs and a toddler that's always on the go makes faster drying time awesome!

This helped clean up majority of dog's urine in the carpet. Going to try the booster to help freshen up the rest. And for the next spot clean we're going with the clean packs to see how effective they are! Love how all the parts are detachable so we can clean. Time will tell how long it'll hold up.

Greetings, The best I have ever owned and I am 65. A woman must have designed this one. Easy to clean. The best item is the DRY ONLY button to assure a dry carpet. My daughter bought one too. Love it! I will always have dogs and after using this cleaner, the carpet looks close to new again. The fibers stand up and have a clean feel and smell. My only problem is when I was cleaning the machine, I lost a bearing in the cleaning bar. It must have fell out and I will have to get another. But this is my only concern and all the other pluses make up for it. It's also easy to maneuver and not too heavy for me. dee

I'm so impressed how well it cleaned our carpet that hasn't been washed for more than a year now, and the stain on our couch! I used the pretreat spray gun to remove the mud stain from our pet's paw. Using the sample solution it came with, it definitely removed the stain on our carpet and on our couch. The brush tool really works in brushing off dirt on the stairs or couches. It is an easy glide forward and back carpet cleaner that dries it right away. It's not heavy at all and easy to use and assemble!

With having pets in the house I normally have to clean and scrub my carpets every week and sometimes more. This carpet cleaner has made this process so much easier. I love that it was easy to put together and very easy to maneuver. It is seriously as easy as vacuuming. You just push it forward to clean and you pull back to dry it. I was so amazed at how quickly it dries. I really like that the machine automatically mixes the water and solution. The pretreat wand and scrubbing tools are absolutely amazing. I normally have to get on my hands and knees with a brush and scrub the stains left by my pets. With the pretreat wand I can just spray the stain and then easily deep clean it away. The scrubbing tool is great for stains on the stairs or even the couch. Another great feature to this carpet cleaner is how easy it is to clean it. Everything easily detaches and you can just clean each piece. This carpet cleaner has surpassed my expectations. My carpet hasn't been this clean and fresh in years. I highly recommend this product.
