I bought this because it offers lots of cool features. However, some of these features are more restrictive than helpful. For example, push forward and it washes. Then pull back it dries. The problem is trying to work a stain out. You sometimes need a good wash before you can dry it. Instead going back and forth ends up getting part of the stain out and drying the rest of the stain into the carpet. It has a button for "dry" only but doesnt have a button for "wash only". Sometimes you need a deep cleaning before you dry it. This isnt for deep cleaning stains from kids and dogs. If it did, i would be a perfect shampooer. Unfortunately now that i have used a few times, i can't take return it. I am now forced to buy another shampooer to get the remaining stain out of the carpet.

I'm in LOVE with this product. I've had it only 3 months, but I don't know how to live without it anymore!!! I can keep it filled and ready to go, and it is as easy as using a vacuum to treat pet puddles when they occur. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and does a WONDERFUL job!!! Better than the large units that you might rent at a grocery store to shampoo your carpets with- and owning it makes me wonder how i ever thought that spraying and soaking up carpet cleaner along with my pet's messes was adequately clean in any way!!! Just after the winter ice storm/ polar vortex in February when I was using this thing 3X a day as all my pets refused to step outside in the highly unusual cold, it just stopped working. Hoover customer service has been great- they are sending a replacement soon! I'm happy with this solution for the issue, but for a couple things. 1. the inconvenience of going without a shampooer for the 2-3 weeks it will take to get a new unti 2. the disposable nature of this whole deal. I don't want to add trash to a landfill after having only owned this thing for 3 months. the sad fact is that I would pay triple for this unit if it's gears and other insides were made of metal and replacement parts were sold. But this seems to be the way that we do business in the US these days... I just wish that we could do more to make things last and be repairable.

I bought this Hoover smartwatch during the pandemic and I love it it's the best carpet cleaner I've ever had the only thing is is I loaned it out to a friend and it came back broken but the good thing is is I just ordered the part that she broke thank God because I don't know what I do without my Hoover smartwatch

This was my first time using a carpet cleaner in my new home and it worked great! Having two German Shepherds (one being 9 weeks old) and two cats, things can be a little chaotic. This carpet cleaner got all my stains out quick and very easily! It has great features, and I'm very excited to be able to clean my carpets with such ease.

The motor burned out within 1 year The belt for brushes break every 1-2 months The treatment gun doesn't spray (but you can hear the motor) No easy way to dump the waste liquid (it's really annoying!) Basically, it looks nice, seems to do the job well when it works but overall it really really is a bad design.

This is my 3rd Hoover carpet cleaner in 30 years. Up until this time, I would have highly recommended Hoover cleaners since I have pets in the home and regularly clean my carpets and rugs. The machine does a great job extracting dirt! However, I am now looking at reviews for other cleaners and anticipate purchasing another brand. I purchased this particular cleaner in June of 2022, and I am disappointed in the quality of this machine. The rotating brushes stopped rotating the 3rd time I used the machine and now the "remove nozzle handle" has broken. I am very disappointed in the quality of this machine.

Even before I received this carpet cleaner, I went to a large site that sells to millions to read some their reviews to get an idea of how this machine worked. When I read some of the one star reviews, I was actually afraid to even try to use this cleaner. But I finally got up the courage to read all of the instructions and see for myself how it worked. I was very pleasantly surprised with the ease of getting the machine ready to use. Very simple. Then I started using it and found it incredibly easy to operate. I could see the dirt it was picking up as I went along cleaning a very dirty carpet. I used clean water as directed to rinse the carpet and saw much more dirt being picked up. I used two containers of water to rinse the carpet just to make sure I was getting all of the cleaning solution out. After this I used just the "Dry" function to get all of the water out of the carpet, although this might not have been necessary. I can honestly say I was stunned by the results! My carpet looked brand new. It has not looked this good since it was installed. I had NO problems whatsoever using this carpet cleaner. For the ease of use and high-quality results, this machine cannot be beat. Highly recommend!! (The photos I submitted of BEFORE and AFTER cannot do justice to the actual results, I'm very sorry to say.)

I have used this product to clean carpets and upholstery. It cleans well but is cheaply made of 75% plastic, the suction nozzle broke after two months and the pretreat wand broke after 3 months, and the rotating attachment for spot cleaning broke after 1 month. Sadly no warranty past 30 days like most brick and mortar stores offer. NO replacement parts available anywhere. Dont waste your money!

Greetings, The best I have ever owned and I am 65. A woman must have designed this one. Easy to clean. The best item is the DRY ONLY button to assure a dry carpet. My daughter bought one too. Love it! I will always have dogs and after using this cleaner, the carpet looks close to new again. The fibers stand up and have a clean feel and smell. My only problem is when I was cleaning the machine, I lost a bearing in the cleaning bar. It must have fell out and I will have to get another. But this is my only concern and all the other pluses make up for it. It's also easy to maneuver and not too heavy for me. dee

This helped clean up majority of dog's urine in the carpet. Going to try the booster to help freshen up the rest. And for the next spot clean we're going with the clean packs to see how effective they are! Love how all the parts are detachable so we can clean. Time will tell how long it'll hold up.
