I needed to clean three white Berber nylon carpets that had been down 4 years in bedrooms with dogs. They look like the day they were installed. Very well designed machine and very easy to clean. I'm impressed. I'm a senior in my 70's and I had no problems putting it together, using it and cleaning it up after using it.

This is by far the best carpet cleaner I've ever had. The separate containers for clean/ dirty water and the cleaning solution along with the simple way it all comes apart for cleaning... Love it!! Wee have 2 corgis and 2 huskies that visit. Our carpets were a mess after this winter. This machine made my carpets look so good. The hair it picked up was unbelievable. Having a separate dry mode allowed up back on the carpet much sooner than we expected.

I got this new carpet cleaner a few weeks ago. I tried it on one little spot using the little "trial size" spot treatment and shampoo and was really impressed by how clean it got the carpet! But then I had to wait a few days for the bigger jugs to arrive. It was well worth the wait!! We have tried SO MANY others and at first they seemed to work, but when they dried, the spots always cam back. And it would take at least 12-18 hours to dry with a fan on it. This Hoover SmartWash Pet Complete is AMAZING!! It took less than an hour to dry completely and it cleans so much deeper than any we have ever used before. Now all of my carpet looks so clean and spot free! And it is SO EASY to use! And clean up is a snap too!! I really do love this machine!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first purchase of a carpet cleaner. It was easy to use, and the instructions were clear and straightforward. I washed, rinsed, and did an extra dry on about 1500 sq ft of carpet in about 4 1/2 hours. It didn't take as long as I expected it to. It was also easy to clean afterwards. I used the stair tool attachment too, and that was also easy to use and to clean. The carpet cleaner seemed to work well. I did notice that occasionally the dry would lose suction, but I'd just turn the machine off and then back on and it was fine. The carpet also dried quickly so it wasn't a problem to put the furniture back where it belonged and for my kids to walk and play on it a couple hours later. It also did not go through as much cleaning solution as I'd expected, so I have plenty of solution for next time! I only had to refill the solution cartridge once, and that wasn't until the very end when I was about to do the stairs, so it barely used any after refilling it. I was worried I'd go through a lot of solution to do the whole house, but about 1 cartridge full did it all! The only thing I have not tried out yet is the spot cleaning wand, but I will when the time comes. I also will note that I don't actually have any pets, just 3 small children (who can make similar messes like pets!). #sweepstakes

We use to have 2 cats, they puked everywhere and nothing would clean it. I got this because my husband was always saying we need to rent a carpet cleaner and I thought we should just have our own. This SmartWash cleaner is easy to use, not extremely heavy, and easy to clean. I like that you just pull back to dry the carpet. Most of all it works on the old carpet stains. I'm very satisfied with this cleaner.

Absolutely LOVE this carpet cleaner!!! I have four boys and my carpets are in constant need of cleaning. Those hard to remove spots and stains came up in minutes with just one pass!!! Easy to use and light weight! My husband assembled and even that was easy too! I wasn't thinking to do a before and after. I was just so excited to open and use.

We are very pleased with the purchase of this product. It is very easy to use. Other cleaners we have purchased in the past have dirty water recovery tanks that are difficult to clean. This one is easy to clean. The removable cover on the top of the brushes is also easy to remove and clean. These feature makes the cleaner look brand new. It also cleans up soiled pet spots from our senior dogs. Our carpets look revived and new. Very pleased and highly recommend this cleaner!

It is so easy to use and gets out dirt and pet hair that my vacuum misses. I like not having to mix the cleaning solution with the water. My only challenge is figuring out how to remove the cleaning solution tank without it leaking everywhere.

I bought mine a month ago. Cleaned 2 bedrooms and the living room. Easy to use. But what is even better is our carpets were dry before the end of the day. The last time we used a carpet cleaning company, the carpets took about 24 to 48 hours to dry. Not with thi machine. Sucks up the water great.

I bought this Hoover after seeing a post on Facebook and then going to the Hoover website. This Hoover Petsmart is very simple to use I love the fact that it has a no brainer use and that's good for me. You just push it forward and push the water on the floor pull back and it sucks it up push a button to suck up any extra water and it's easy to clean. I would recommend this instead of having Stanley Steamer come to my house , I now can save money by doing it myself it's well worth the investmentI, I only wish that they would give you free carpet cleaner and spot cleaner for one year after purchasing that would be a big plus.
