Been using turbo tax, since I started filing taxes in 2011. it has been helpful in filing. it breaks down each section needed to file. Gives good advice on how to find the needed information and explains why it's needed and what it is for. Even helps me find missing forms needed to file. Even though I had not received one yet at an appropriate time, if I gave it the correct information it leads me to the right path or reminds me what else is needed. Since the start of using turbo tax, my taxes have been filed efficiently and accurately without being rejected and sent back to me for corrections.

I receive pensions from the UK government and a former employer in the UK. I have entered correct contact addresses for these payors. They do not have EIN numbers. I entered 99-999999 as suggested by Chat GPT. These show up as errors in the final review and prevent on line filing. The system is not friendly with regard to income from these sources. Can you add an input form for foreign sourced income and pensions please?

20 year customer. The software is old and patched to obsolescence. Need an entirely fresh build with no connection to any prior software to free itself of legacy bugs. So aggrevating the last 2 years, I'm actually considering starting anew with a competing product.

Easy to use program, I prefer to keep my data on my computer and I'm glad I have that choice, the price is a bit on the high end at $95.00 other then that rock solid product as always for last 10years I've been using it...oh wow that is about $950.00 I should get a large discount for repeat user/buyer of this product.

ALWAYS A TRYING EXPERIENCE! Can't copy or print any the help pop-up information for later review. Can't copy and paste any field names or data to save in a Notepad file for back reference while completing numerous other steps. There are SO MANY TIMES THROUGHOUT THE PROGRAM WHEN THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH HELP! Instead, you make us manually write down EVERY BIT OF IMPORTANT DATA that we may need to back reference later.

I don't need 'tax experts.' I've been filling out the same topics for 20 years using turbotax. What I DO need is Windos10 support. I refuse to use Windows 11 for security and privacy concerns. Instead, by using Turbotax, I have now exposed my information in ways I can't get back. Many of my fellow IT specialists agree which is why we have refused to 'upgrade' to that worthless product. If Windows 10 isn't supported, I wouldn't expect that many of us will continue to use Turbotax. With what I've done for the last 20 years, it's easy enough to fill out the forms directly, it's just 'easier' to use the UI and not need to 'search' for changes. Having to only use 1 windows 11 machine (my wife's) and only being able to use it when it's not in use (scheduling is a thing) instead of the other 20 computers here is extremely difficult.

Liked it all except the valuation process for non-cash contributions. Very cumbersome to pick the names of the items to value. As well, 2024 allowed for us to pick the individual donations and combine them on one donation date. 2025 was not user friendly at all!

No, we did not use a person. We E-file the federal tax and mail the state tax or hand deliver each year. Please make it easier to file each in that method. I have to say I am Maling the state tax and do not want to E-File or mail Feder at that time. Then go back and say I want to E-File Federal. It looks like I do not file my state taxes.

I have been using TurboTax since 1993 and this is probably my last year using TurboTax. WHY WOULD INTUIT DESIGN TURBOTAX NOT TO RUN ON WINDOWS 10 ??? Win11 is not secure and because of that is banned for use in many government and industry organizations in Europe. I will be transitioning to Linux later this year. Maybe Intuit will design a version of TurboTax to run on Linux. This year I had to borrow a Mac to run TurboTax, but I don't care for the Mac OS or the extremely high cost of their notebook computers. Another topic is that I do not want my financial data "in the cloud". I want all my data to stay on my computer. I just want a Tax program that will download the tax forms and instructions, then calculate the taxes. Just as TurboTax did years ago before they started the online tax prep. I don't need the typical letter that regrets to inform me that there was a data breech and how sorry that the system they swore was secure somehow was breeched!......but don't worry we are offering you credit monitoring!!! NO THANKS, I will go back to pencil & paper if I have to.

Needs more explanation about what other aspects of your return may be affected if you opt to do something. Also needs better navigation within the app for those of us that jump around a bit. You currently have to go through so many screens to get to where you are trying to go. That feels clunky and antiquated.
