This is about my 30th year with TurboTax and your software is accurate and user friendly. Your print selection is functional but could use more features like an easy way to print draft pages as you're working on them. It makes reporting to the IRS and Georgia Dept of Revenue very easy due to the great interfaces.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and have always given it 5 stars. But this year I was very disappointed with it. It worked wonderfully up until the time it came for me to request my refund. It said that I could request a paper check, which I did. However, I now have received a letter from the IRS saying that my refund must be done through direct deposit and requiring me to create an account with them to provide my information. I do not want to create this account and should not have had to do it. Since the "Modernizing Payments" executive order was signed on March 25, 2025, your software should have been updated so that it required me to add my banking information at that time. Why did your software not warn me that I couldn't get a paper check? I am very disappointed by Turbo Tax this year!

Accuracy is, of course, a most critical need in tax preparation and filing. Having been a Pharmacist for a half-century, it is my nature to triple-check and quadruple-check for accuracy. I have never found any problems with TurboTax in that regard. When I started doing my own taxes 6 decades ago, I needed 4 pages of forms -- a Form 1040 and Schedules A & B; now, dozens of forms are necessary. Without TurboTax and my reliance on its accuracy, I think it might be difficult to keep my 60-year streak going.

I really appreciate the ability to download trade data from the brokerage firms. One thing new to me this year was reporting the sale of collectibles for Schedule D. TT wasn't real clear on how to open up and manually enter the info on collectible sales after I finished downloading the brokerage data. I was able to guess and figure it out under the term "Other" but I think that TT should have more clearly guided me to that application and displayed an example. I had a confidence problem until I worked my way through it and saw the final result on Schedule D. (I am happy with the way it worked out; was just nervous doing it.)

I had a problem in completing 8382 form- donatation form, Next I could not process the efile as it a minor question to answer and I don't know what was your question, Next I tried to call a TurboTax site near my home, I tried three times, each time it said call back if you need help. I have been using Turbo tax form for over 15 years, I had no trouble before. You need to go back what was done for 2024 tax return especially with the non monetary donation valuation. All those supportd were miss ing.

I've been using TurboTax for years and I love it. It is easy to use and the features are great in terms of allowing you to easily file your taxes no matter how complex. It is accurate and they have professional agents on standby to discuss any complex tax issues!

The software was easy to use but I had to call twice for some explanation/help. Both times all went smoothly and the reps were very helpful and answered all questions. Only issue was when printing certain forms, the system set up for that seemed confusing. Other than that, the TurboTax system went well.

I have been huge advocate of TT for many years. This year is different. First I discovered they did away with the "Its Deductible" feature for tracking charitable donations. Then, I found that TT does not accurately allow accept the depreciation and expenses associated with a Short Term Rental (STR) that is used part-time as a vacation home and in which we actively and materially participate in the management of. In order to complete my taxes accurately, I had to over-ride several cells on the forms. Little did I know, by doing so, TT would not allow me to E-File. However, TT was quick to take my $75 to E-File in 3 separate states, then not allow me to E-File. What?! Now I am out that $75, and had to print off 228 pages to manually mail my returns to the IRS and 3 states. I am confident in the accuracy of my overrides and should be allowed to acknowledge the variance and move forward with the E-filing. Not to mention, I shouldn't have to pay to E-file three state returns, only to be told TT will not allow it. Very disappointed and will be looking at all other options next year!

Gtood presentations and explanations of tax law, and of different treatments of income and expenses based on personal and business. Easy and clear access to forms and worksheets behind the screens. Improvements needed: 1. Improve explanation of entry with respect to accrued interest. Inform user as to whether accrued interest paid or accrued interest earned should be entered. 2. With respect item #1 above, tell user how they can change the entry. I made the wrong entry and wanted to delete it but could not find it on the screen after initially entering a wrong amount. I final had to search the worksheets and find it manually buried in an obscure form. That is unacceptable. 3. The interface screens often do not come up on the computer even though the application is open. Often, I had shut down my computer and reboot in order for the application to update and appear on my computer.

Initial log on process is odd and not user friendly. Some screens only provide partial visibility on computer monitor. Overall, it worked for completing my taxes. But, screens, content, help responses could be so much better. I found myself using AI to get good tax advice and answers.
