I HAVE USED TURBOTAX FOR 20 YEARS AND EACH YEAR IT SEEMS TO HAVE DIFFERENT BUGS WHICH ARE ANNOYING TO WORK AROUND. I ALWAYS MANAE TO GET TAXES DONE BUT SOMETIMES IT IS NOT THE EASIEST SOFTWARE TO USE. STILL I KEEP COMING BACK BECAUSE I LIKE ALL MY RECORDS ON THE SAME SYSTEM AND I LIKE THE INTUIT AUDIT DEFENSE FEATURE.

Even with your great software, I have to sweat in order to finish it. I used the Life Experts, it is good. Some hints for me to finish it in a new way. Google could have done the same for me. But I do not mind using your expert. TT is missing a Text-SEARCH feature within a form. Also annoying is in Form mode, no Search icon even to search the form name. BTW, this survey is very bad UI and UX

I've used Turbo Tax for years and have always been pleased with the results. Although I am a tax profession, it it very user friendly and I think most people would be able to follow along and use it. I've never had the IRS come back to audit me and the only issues I've had have been of my own misunderstandings.

i RAN INTO SEVERAL SYSTEM ERRORS AS I WAS FILING MY RETURNS. TURBOTAX CRASHED, THEN IT SAID THAT I NEED TO MAIL FORMS TO THE GOVERNMENT AFTER E-FILING, BUT, THE ADOBE ACROBAT FILE OF WHAT NEEDED TO BE MAILED WAS CORRUPTED AND I COULD NOT OPEN IT. YOUR LIMIT OF 3 STATE RETURNS VIA E-FILE IS INCONVENIENT AND INCOMPREHENSIBLE - WHY DO YOU LIMIT THEM?

Unfortunately for Turbo Tax most people hate doing taxes, so with all of the charges and verbiage turbo tax uses (and has changed from last year) it's not in Turbo Taxes best interest to ask me to rate after the thrashing of doing all of the data collection and deciphering of all that goes along with doing my home and business taxes. I also don't appreciate having to invest in a new computing system that can handle the offline turbo tax software. My old system was way good enough to handle anything and along the virus protection I personally pay for their (to me) seems to be no really good reason to restrict me in using my window 10 computer. I have upgraded to windows 11 which was a pain because of all of the arbitrary restrictions and to top it off my laser printer does not work with windows 11. I know this is not turbo tax's fault, but it adds to the aggravation, and last minute scramble and expensive solutions. I personally condemn TT's move to limit offline tax prep to windows 11. I will never (if I can help it) do my taxes online where I do not have control of my data. Poor choices by TT in my opinion to associate themselves with the poor Windows 11 platform

Glad to have assistance from a person at the beginning of our return because there was confusion because of the Microsoft 11 requirement in order to do the tax on the computer after downloading so we tried to use TurboTax Online when asked to try it. We said yes because we have paid for the turbotax using the TurboTax Family KEY to begin the product. We weren't allowed to do the taxes online because TurboTax would not show our 2024 Return online although we could see that Turbotax has a record of us buying it last year and the one we purchased this year kept only letting Claudia be the one filing instead of allowing it to be JOINT filing like all the other years. We entered all the data again ourselves using the prior year that we kept and somehow it transferred some of our data. AI WAS A NIGHTMARE IN TERMS OF SENDING US THE PAGE RELATING TO ANY QUESTION WE HAD. WE HAD TO OUTSIDE OF TURBOTAX TO GET ANSWERS. AI WAS A LEAST 75% WRONG AND OFFERED NO DIRECT LINKS TO THE PAGE WE NEEDED.

I find that some of the categories I am afraid not to put even a zero value in. Then when the checklist- review comes up I have all these issues that need to be resolved. Yet in the checklist-review correction thing, you cannot get rid of the zero mistake and leave it empty. you have to spend bucket loads of time finding the thing in "forms" or sometimes "walk me through everything". This could be solved by just letting you make the correction in the checklist-review, or just say in the "walk me through everything" that you need to leave it blank. I'm no tax expert obviously, but I have used Turbotax Home and Business for years. Please make it easier for us dummies.

TT continues to be confusing internally. I have many questions throughout the return prep process that are not answered clearly or readily. I also run into issues that require my calling your so-called "Product Experts," and of the several I spoke with this year I had only one positive interaction; the others were not only not very knowledgeable, but they used speaker phones or some microphone system that made them difficult to hear, especially since they had foreign accents - NEITHER of which is helpful.

I tried the online version first, but I switched back to the desktop version. At times I want to know the rationale /background of some of the questions and with the desktop version it's easier to go to publications. I also like to look at worksheets and forms as I prepare the tax return and I didn't see how to do this with the online version. Finally, when it came to filling my state taxes by mail, I could not find the instructions for that, and only found instructions for e-filing. I had to go to the Virginia Department of Taxation website to read how/where to mail file.

EVERY YEAR I AM WAITING FOR FORMS TO BE UPDATED UNTIL LATE JANUARY OR EARLY FEBUARY. BUT YOU EXPECT ME TO PAY FOR YOUR SOFTWARE IN NOVEMBER. THIS YEAR MY FEDERAL RETURN WAS COMPLETED ON JANUARY 13TH AND ELECTRONICALLY SENT BUT COULD NOT BE FILED UNTIL JANUARY 26TH. MY 1040-ES FORM PRINT WITH "DO NOT FILE" ACROSS THE PRINTED VOUCHER. I CAN FIND NO WAY TO PRINT THEM WITHOUT THIS PROBLEM. I REVIEWED MY COMPLETED TAX RETURN AND I CAN FIND NO REASON FOR THIS PROBLEM. CAN YOU ENLIGHTEN ME.
