I have used TurboTax for over 20 years now, and am always pleased with how it walks me through all the different sections for taxes, deductions, etc. I always feel confident, after completion, that, together, we have done the best job of being fair both to the Government taxing body and to ourselves.

I have used turbo tax for many years. I do so because they make it simple and seemingly thorough. Advice help is always offered but I do not use it because I feel that the questions etc are clearly stated and if i have my records i can find the answers. I would use the Turbo Tax help if I did not trust Turbo Tax to be clearly professionally together for their paying customers. I understand taxes enough after doing them myself for so long and am trusting turbo tax to continue their professionalism in making their program. If Turbo Tax can promise me that after looking at my tax forms that they will find me ways to get a larger tax refund I would gladly pay for advice but if that is not promised I'd be silly to throw good money after bad by simply "hoping' for more . That's gambling to me.

Unfortunately for Turbo Tax most people hate doing taxes, so with all of the charges and verbiage turbo tax uses (and has changed from last year) it's not in Turbo Taxes best interest to ask me to rate after the thrashing of doing all of the data collection and deciphering of all that goes along with doing my home and business taxes. I also don't appreciate having to invest in a new computing system that can handle the offline turbo tax software. My old system was way good enough to handle anything and along the virus protection I personally pay for their (to me) seems to be no really good reason to restrict me in using my window 10 computer. I have upgraded to windows 11 which was a pain because of all of the arbitrary restrictions and to top it off my laser printer does not work with windows 11. I know this is not turbo tax's fault, but it adds to the aggravation, and last minute scramble and expensive solutions. I personally condemn TT's move to limit offline tax prep to windows 11. I will never (if I can help it) do my taxes online where I do not have control of my data. Poor choices by TT in my opinion to associate themselves with the poor Windows 11 platform

Overall very good. A few points of feedback: - It never asked me whether I retired in 2025, which I did, and on what date - It prorated/reduced the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion without explaining why, as I earned all my W-2 income overseas. I researched and concluded that the reduction was because I returned to the U.S. in 2025 and the max FEIE is for a full year - It does not allow to print Fed and State returns separately or by forms or without worksheets, like in previous years. This is disappointing

The importing from financial institutions was very clunky and not as smooth ha it has been in the past. What's the point of importing data if I am required to log into the account to collect the document number. In past years, I would login via TurboTax and then import.

We should have 5 federal returns we can file via turbo tax - - and Ii get maximum filing reached at number 4 - - and then it says filed, and after a bunch of screens i go through, it comes back and says filing status reached - - there is something wrong here

The 2025 Home & Business edition had one flaw - it did not have a "None" option when it told me to check a year I received a PPP loan. I received no loan, and had to call the TurboTax help phone number. Darlene guided me through the process of deleting the PPP form, and then ensured my return was error free. On a Sunday night no less.

I did not see MAGI calculated for my return. I had to do it myself. As a consequence I found I needed to make an IRA contribution to avoid exceeding the IRMMA threshold for the next tier. That caused me to need to file an amended return. It would be most helpful if Turbo Tax included the MAGOi number and provided a table of MAGI thresholds foestimated IRMMA tier thresholds.

I HAVE USED TURBOTAX FOR 20 YEARS AND EACH YEAR IT SEEMS TO HAVE DIFFERENT BUGS WHICH ARE ANNOYING TO WORK AROUND. I ALWAYS MANAE TO GET TAXES DONE BUT SOMETIMES IT IS NOT THE EASIEST SOFTWARE TO USE. STILL I KEEP COMING BACK BECAUSE I LIKE ALL MY RECORDS ON THE SAME SYSTEM AND I LIKE THE INTUIT AUDIT DEFENSE FEATURE.

the who;le on line vs desktop was very confusing I dont know whats where. wanted to pay before I did a tax return and getting there was very cponfusing. when I tried to find ALL forms it was hard to do. Didnt like all the sellinf in app just wanted to file return
