turboitax crashes and failsto startup reliabily in windows 11 environment. speciifcally it creates files during opening that begin with an invalid character per onedrive and other syncing systems. The interface on startup is the same as years ago and is just boring fails to provide the why it takes so long. checking is slow even with a 1g internet line. Had to reload again this year and the analysis and advise tab is unhelpful. I need to evaluate next years taxes and it does not allow to do planning. ie ss increases by 2.8%, interest will increase 5% what is the correct fed and state taxes owed. PS: i go back to the second year of turbo tax using it on a network before a network version existed. Made a good side hassle moving accountants to the platform.

Mostly helpful, did not like having to enter and repeat banking information for refunds, this could have been imported from last year's return and a simple confirmation of the same, unless a change was desired, is preferred. Another way to reward repeat customers.

I have used turbotax for over 10 years, this is the first time I used it on a MacBook. I completely filled out the return and was ready to submit when the downloaded turbotax software experienced a glitch and lost/cleared all of the information I had entered. Very frustrating I had to restart from the beginning and will rethink using this product (home and business 2025) again in the future. My MacBook is new less than 2 months old.

I found it difficult to erase mistakes. I inadvertently added my 1099 for secretarial work (covered separately) into the line that asked for the same but into my wife's online book business. I could erase the amount but the program continued to ascribe it as an error and highlighted the box as such.

You seem to be moving the UI towards one optimized for phones and suboptimal for desktop. Giant buttons instead of simple items to click. Just making the buttons smaller would help a lot. I'm using a 24" monitor and the buttons are huge. I've using TT for many years and this is the first year where I felt your UI was making it harder for me. I can't be the only person left using a desktop system.

I had to spend that $60.00 fee to talk to an agent. Two hours of waiting for help, I was finally contacted by Nathan. The problem was that I was at the finish line and the Federal could not be accepted. Nathan worked with me for over an hour. He successfully solved the problem by upgrading my software. It was very complicated but he knew just what to do all the while calming me that it just takes time. He saved me. Honestly, he saved me. Thank you again Nathan for everything, Lou Anne

Very difficult to use this year compared to previous years. AI help not very helpful. Should not need to log into a Intuit account to get help from the software. Was very confusing to navigate when questions arose. I will compare various tax software next year rather than assume that Turbo Tax would be the go to.

I have used the Home & Business version to guide me through the ever-changing income tax laws to insure accurate reporting of my taxes for the past 17 years! I have used Turbo Tax for at least 20 years and until the past 3 years have been quite satisfied with the product. Why fix what was a good thing. The past 3 years it seems as though the simplicity of the product has become cumbersome by technology. it is not as user friendly as it once was,

IT WAS AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE. THE SOFTWARE STOPPED WORKING AT THE END OF THE FIRST DATA ENTRY AND I LOST ALL DATA. THE SECOND TIME AROUND, IT SHUT DOWN ON ITS OWN A HALF DOZEN TIMES BUT DIDNT LOSE ANY DATA, MIRACULOUSLY I THINK. THE SOFTWARE MAY BE AS SIMPLE AS IT CAN GET GIVEN THE MASSIVELY COMPLEX TAX CODE. BUT I FELT RANSACKED - ESPECIALLY AT THE END WHEN YOU REQUIRED MORE MONEY TO FILE, AT WHICH POINT, I A SURE YOU KNEW I WOULD BE TOO EXHAUSTED TO RESIST
