My experience with TurboTax is some frustration in checking the return. It would be very helpful for TurboTax to generate a listing of all of the manually entered and imported information used in the return. The only way to check these numbers is to go through a bunch of questions already answered.

I've used TurboTax for years and it's pretty easy and straightforward. Easy to transfer the previous year's info into a new return to start... then update areas that I want to work on. My only recommendation is to make it easier to see where/how new tax laws (e.g., no tax on social security) are applied. In my case, it wasn't clear until I saw my printed 1040-SR.

I wish there was a capability in TurboTax EasyStep where I could ask the system to take me to the location in t rcess where I entered certain data--like my IRA Contribution and it would take me to the appropriate screen via Personal/Deductions & Credits and the field where I could add or change that value. I did use Live Tax Advice and they were excellent helpers. I made 4 calls to 3 different Advisors--they were all very professional and very knowledgeable to help me to quickly resolve my questions.

Hi - Very much DISLIKED the new dividend and interest input function. Before, all of the previous years' entries were brought in as default info. Now, the new format requires a lot of redundant keying. Got very tedious quickly. The other input functions were good... as expected.

Generally, the software is user friendly, though sometimes a little more explanation to guide the user in answering a question, would be helpful. Intention was to E-file both federal and state AND to electronically deposit into a bank account. Fed was properly sent to my bank, but state sent me a CHECK. Turbo tax wouldn't let me check to see if I forgot to check the box for electronic deposit. Hmmmmm.

I have used TurboTax since the beginning of TurboTax. I started using TurboTax because I kept getting audited. I have never had a problem since I started. I love it. Give yourself the time to take your time! Its really not hard. Just answer the questions correctly, If you don't know the answer, don't guess, find it. Worth every penny of savings they provide!!

This is the second year in a row that I have been unable to file online because the PIN in your software does not match the IRS records. I am very frustrated and don't know how to resolve this. I don't like filing through the mail, and I feel I've wasted money paying for this software again.

Been using Turbo Tax for years. Love it except for one thing. When do the final review, it says that I need to "deal with a few things". They have been things I don't know anything about, nor what answers are required. So I just submit it anyway (without settling your issues) and it makes no difference. It's just a little annoying.

The best thing that I liked about this year's tax return is that I was able to pull all the information with the exception of a few banks all of the interest in all the dividends and all of the sales of stock and we're automatically transferred into the return I feel that is great. I also sent in a note about my state income tax and you charging me $15 to file it I do not feel this is correct tha thank you. thank you.

Turbotax is more difficult to use every year...... I suspect this is intentional giving Intuit the opportunity to SELL advice to end users. In fact, Turbotax has become a giant sales promotion from opening to closing. I'm also highly suspicious of the online version and the "offer" of a free state Efile. The software axiom always holds true..... if your not paying for a service, you're (your information) become part of the service.
