The program was good. BUT all the EXTRA steps to get my prepaid auto program every year was terrible. For years you sign in, you go to your purchase and download what you paid for in November 2025 ( I think Nov.)? Why do you want to make someone who has paid then jump through hoops plus more hoops once you get the email to download the program. SHAME ON YOU! WE DO NOT NEED THIS! DO NOT share my email address.

Worst tax experience I have ever had. It was our first "complicated" year so we thought we would purchase software to help us decode the process. The more info is just as brief and cryptic as the official IRS stuff. This software only ok for those who understand everything taxes before hand - I should have paid a CPA to do my taxes instead.

This year has been complete nightmare. Your system cannot handle the tax information completely, has trouble downloading the prior year's return, drops some of the comparison yearly numbers, cannot complete the sale of a business use auto without screwing up the gain or loss

I have been a Turbo Tax user for several year, probably 10 or more, and this year was the easiest year. However, they really need to explain things a bit more and ask more questions to avoid having to go back and fix "errors." Items such as details on a K1 or needing an IRS pin number, things that are not "normal" for most people. I do love that I can still do my own taxes, and those of my adult kids all on one program.

TurboTax help is often incorrect and misleading. So far as I can see, there is no way to use the desktop TurboTax and import the completed desktop TurboTax file into online TurboTax. TurboTax desktop makes mistakes, for example, after importing 1099-R forms the taxes paid on the IRA and 401k distributions was not captured.

I have used TurboTax for over 40 years. Each year now it seems they make it harder and longer to input the data. I have asked 4 times for the form PATR-1099 to be included in forms. I find the Step-by-Step could be more precise and streamlined with more copied from the prior year information. Last but not least, they need to update it sooner for tax planning purposes and lower the price.

The help files did not bring up information as it has done in the past regarding how to enter a specific document into the tax form. I was repeatedly asked to login then pay for accessing any information. I ended up using Google to find the answer- which was linked to a Turbo Tax file. I made sure to bookmark the answer for future reference.

The Turbo Tax desktop app direct debit feature is just broken for Bank of America accounts. My account was opened in CA and I have lived in WA for 4 years, BofA does not change your routing number after you move, yet TurboTax would not allow me to use the direct debit feature despite all of my bank info being correct. This is a blatant oversight by Intuit & TurboTax and is not acceptable when the fee to use Turbotax is $175, while Intuit lobbies the IRS to reduce e-filling options.

I don't understand why TurboTax doesn't provide much assistance in determining some federal and state differences, for example different amounts for CA capital loss carryover. This subject is a big mystery to me, but I would assume TT designers know how to ask for pertinent data to determine the correct entry.

This is the first time in 40 years that TurboTax couldn't even go from topic to topic. This was primarily an issue in the business section. Also, the Missouri section didn't ask about the Missouri Homestead Disaster Tax Credit. Luckily my wife happened to come across an article about it. It was worth $2,000 and TurboTax didn't have a clue about it. Additionally, I had to file my state tax return through the mail because TurboTax was one of the few programs that couldn't file with that tax credit. You can count on that I will try a different program next year
