The new version is relatively ok to work through, but I had major issues transmitting the forms. The TurboTax program locked up on my computer for hours. Finally had to call and ask for help. The agent I got was nice and super proficient, we finally decided to send the federal forms separately. I will send the state after the feds accept theirs. That is a pain in the butt, but it worked..

I had great difficulty getting the state return. The software would not download it. I tried a bunch of things recomended to cure this but none worked. I finally tried to manually download the state return software from your website, but this proved very difficult. The instructions bore no resemblance to what I was seeing. I finally got your AI assistant to give me a link to the download. It shouldn't be this hard

I've used Turbo Tax for years and have always been pleased with the results. Although I am a tax profession, it it very user friendly and I think most people would be able to follow along and use it. I've never had the IRS come back to audit me and the only issues I've had have been of my own misunderstandings.

There is an error in the schedule C form 7205 that has been there for over 3 years. Putting a 0 in the field prohibited the federal tax form from being e-filed. There were no clear instructions as to how to remove the 0, and it took OVER an hour to figure this out. THIS HAS BEEN AN ISSUE FOR OVER THREE YEARS. A simple fix would be to add wording stating that if the value is 0, LEAVE IT BLANK. You're welcome for doing your job for you.

The Alabama state tax computation never seems to be accurate. I have to do a detail review every year and figure out how to fix. This year it did not handle our Roth conversions correctly. It was adding them to the 1099-R resulting in double taxing.

TurboTax makes filing taxes relatively easy if not fool-proof. I had to file taxes in multiple states this year and TurboTax completed one state's tax forms incorrectly forcing me to go line-by-line through the individual forms to locate TurboTax's error (placing a 0 where none was needed and the field should have been left blank) then correct it.

I've been using TurboTax for over 25 years and found it to be a very accurate software compared to other brands used earlier. It is always been compatible with my Windows computers. Feature-wise, it covers all of our different tax scenarios and the interface is very easy to use. Reports are accurate and easy to read.

Very difficult to use this year compared to previous years. AI help not very helpful. Should not need to log into a Intuit account to get help from the software. Was very confusing to navigate when questions arose. I will compare various tax software next year rather than assume that Turbo Tax would be the go to.

Product needs a lot of improvement. Online search is absolutely worthless. IRA basis don't transfer over from last year's Turbo tax filed returns. Others such as state taxes paid, investment credits owed... so much information from previous years' returns could be transferred over but you don't - making us go back and manually look it up and enter
