My only issue this year was selecting the environment. I have always downloaded your program, this year I was prompted to use the online version. I said OK. Next time I worked on taxes, I was prompted to download the program, so I said OK. The next time I went back, I was again prompted to use the online version. Please make up your mind.

I've used Turbo Tax for over 20 years with no problems until I got remarried to a person who didn't have a Social Security Card. Wo I submitted a W7 for a TIN but had to do this through the local IRS office. I did get the TIN number a few weeks later and was left with the option of having to do video interview to verify my wifes identity. Which we had done when we went into the IRS office. We got an acknowledgement verifying her ID but Turbo Tax wouldn't allow us to resubmit and apparently doesn't have an automatic was to communicate with ID ME. After another IRS appointment we were told that we had to physically mail in the Turbo Tax 2024 paperwork to Ogden, UT. We did and our UPS Tracking confirmed that it was picked up at the PO Box. That was six months ago. We have not received any communication from the IRS about even it being received. After a couple of more months we set another IRS appointment and were told that we should just resubmit the electronic form. Unfortunately, the IRS wouldn't accept the form now that it is late 2025. So, I set another IRS appointment and they over the course of 1 year, even the IRS couldn't tell me where my Tax Forms were. They recommended that I mail it back in a Fourth Time. I came prepared with the updated form and the Portland Office mailed my form in. Moving on to filing for 2025 I'm stranded because one of the questions that is being asked is what my AGI was for 2024 and since the iRS hasn't gotten to my 2024 forms 2025 was REJECTED. Seems like a silly thing to uphold my Refunds. Turbo Tax has a long way to go dealing with Immigrants coming into our country legally and doing everything that they can to do it right we are getting penalized for Turbo Tax not getting the notifications from ID ME that should've immediately allowed us to move forward. In addition, holding up future returns because of the ADI question is absurd.

I have been using Turbo Tax Home and Business for over a decade. I find it easy to use, straightforward, and accurate. I have saved a fortune in accountant charges and I learn so much in the process. I feel like I'm more in touch with my business income and expenses, I like to see the figures for myself. I use a MacBook Pro and so far the software is still compatible. It's a 2020 version. I hoping it'll still be compatible next year. Fingers crossed.

Turbo Tax Federal is straight forward and easy to understand. I let it go through everything and I fill in the blanks. The State of Maine part not so much. It says you can file for $20 and after all is said and done they hit you up for another $40 processing fee

Step by step approach to completing taxes was not intuitive and I found it confusing. It's questions about IRA's was clunky and almost caused me to make an error. The average person will need to pay extra fees for tax help because the program is complex especially if they have capital gains and IRA's. Calculations are generally accurate although last year it miscalculated my income and deductions. It doesn't ask questions in a straightforward manner.

Once again, Turbo Tax provides straightforward and easy filing. It provides the latest updates for Federal & State tax laws, allows you to either let TurboTax guide you through or let you self guide to each tax category. The latter is most convenient when you are waiting on W-2s or 1099s to arrive.

The fact that you tired to push me to online file becuase it makes more money for you is horrible. I know that this program would work fine on Windows 10, but you saw an opportunity to 'increase shareholder value' and greedily took it. Much like your lobbying to get rid of free tax filing options. You suck....however, 2 stars becuase it did actually file the tax forms.

Normally review TurboTax Home & Business with 4 or 5 stars. 2 stars for 2025 because of the bugs affecting (or lack of features to support) ICHRAs and the healthcare marketplace. I had to mail hard copy returns after making manual corrections to form 1095-A and 8962. TurboTax kept forcing a premium tax credit refund even though I am not eligible for the refund because I was covered by an ICHRA. Very disappointing and sucked up a ton of time!

Gtood presentations and explanations of tax law, and of different treatments of income and expenses based on personal and business. Easy and clear access to forms and worksheets behind the screens. Improvements needed: 1. Improve explanation of entry with respect to accrued interest. Inform user as to whether accrued interest paid or accrued interest earned should be entered. 2. With respect item #1 above, tell user how they can change the entry. I made the wrong entry and wanted to delete it but could not find it on the screen after initially entering a wrong amount. I final had to search the worksheets and find it manually buried in an obscure form. That is unacceptable. 3. The interface screens often do not come up on the computer even though the application is open. Often, I had shut down my computer and reboot in order for the application to update and appear on my computer.

Not good. No one told me I could never again download turbotax desktop unless I used Google Chrome—a ver insecure platform that comes with many ways fro all sorts of nonsense companies to get your data. I sent a few hours on the phone trying to download my desktop version, which I have been using since 2013. I use MAC and am up to date, I even bought a new mac this year so I could continue to do taxes with you. But when it came finally to filing, I was not permitted to get the supposedly free audit help because I do not use Keychain, and did not have a keychain code with which to add this option. Only by checking NO would the request get out of the way so I could file.
