I've been buying Schedule C version for 15 years, probably 20+. You make it increasingly difficult to efile Federal and mail in State (I owe $0 taxes). For all the convenience of carrying info over from year to year, I think this may be my last year as a customer.

Sorry, Intuit, the 2025 Tax Year TurboTax was the worst that I can remember, and I've been using TurboTax since the beginning. You got rid of fan favorites, charitable goods calculator, and you push selling your 1-offs too much throughout the process. Sad people, I know I am not the only one that thinks this way, just Google, "TurboTax sucks this year" and see what people are saying. This is constructive criticism, get back to basics a quite short cutting in order to save a dime.

I've been using Turbo Tax for years and have not seen any improvements with features when entry errors are identified. It does not explain well why the error, how to fix entries and offer "specialized consultation service" to address specific or unique tax situations. I wasted over 2hrs circling around the application with a unique tax issue but was not able to override the corrections.

I have found TurboTax to be very helpful for doing my personal, small business, and real estate taxes with the Personal and Business product. However, the federal is much more precise than the state. I would give it 5 stars if it imported (or filled out my schedule C) from QuickBooks Online. I also found it frustrating this year that it did not save my file when I came back to finish up and the program asked to update first. That completely lost all the data I had entered.

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. This year, I spent much more time than usual trying to find and enter business deductions the program skipped past. Didn't seem as user friendly. The AI search function was confusing. I simply wanted to skip to a section and was offered options that got me off track. Importing 1099's seemed more cumbersome as well.

Software still is not recognizing that Options trading is different from stock trading. A covered Call can be sold with a negative cost basis. Sell To Open may be $10, but then the covered option moves In the Money causing the Buy To Close be $12, therefore an option having a -$2 cost basis. This causes 100's of errors in the software to review before submitting, and creating unnecessary work.

You seem to be moving the UI towards one optimized for phones and suboptimal for desktop. Giant buttons instead of simple items to click. Just making the buttons smaller would help a lot. I'm using a 24" monitor and the buttons are huge. I've using TT for many years and this is the first year where I felt your UI was making it harder for me. I can't be the only person left using a desktop system.

I have been using turbo tax for over 20 years now - for tax returns of increasing complexity. Overall it has been a good experience. However - with the sunset of the its deductible feature (which I did not realize was going away and resulted in the loss of a bunch of data I had entered) the program seems much less useful and integrated than before. Not sure that I will continue to use it next year - will probably look at other programs to see if anyone still have the deduction integration features.

TurboTax makes filing taxes relatively easy if not fool-proof. I had to file taxes in multiple states this year and TurboTax completed one state's tax forms incorrectly forcing me to go line-by-line through the individual forms to locate TurboTax's error (placing a 0 where none was needed and the field should have been left blank) then correct it.

The person who decided not to provide access to It's Deductible should be terminated, Not only did that decision took away important functionality, but it was done without advising customers of this and lowering the price accordingly for the lost functionality. This is a bad decision which was compounded by the fact that the software offered an alternative methodology for valuing the donations which did not became available until late February or early March. More than half of the filing time was lost and forcing the customers to look for alternative methods for valuing the donations which sometimes indluding incurring in additional expenses. Shame on you
