I've been using Turbotax for decades and I would normally give this five stars every time. I use the desktop downloaded version only and this is the review for that version only. I prefer the desktop version because of the ability to switch between step by step and forms and that I can see the running total of my either tax payment or ref for both federal and that I File with. This year was particularly frustrating rental property real estate amortization and appreciation system was not completed in a timely manner. Yes I realize the IRS was and putting out their forms And so that into it had to hustle to try to get this system out and I'm glad got it out finally at least the portion that I needed I know that other people problems that section still So I mean if What I did not appreciate is that Turbotax announced the date that it would come and that date passed and they announced the later date and that date passed and announced the later. Many people were asking in the forums on Intuit site when this would be done and the answer was always well it's coming out it should be out by this date and if you sign up for the email updates you'll get an email this update is ready. But myself included and many other people reported getting an email saying the update was ready Kind of gay like oh you're about to keep when it really wasn't you know and then coming and opening Turbotax finding it still wasn't there That was really frustrating they could have been more clear open and honest about when it was coming out and make sure that their notification system was working people given false hope when they got an email saying hey your updates ready and then finding out that it really was not. Unless the online version of Turbotax becomes almost exactly like the downloaded desktop version I will probably never use the online version so into it has plans to stop producing the online version then I'm gonna have to search for another product.

I have always had good experiences filing my taxes through TTAX. I hope your excellent software continues to live up to this high bar set during previous experiences. I would like it to be easier to safe my tax return on my local drive and be able to open these nor access these files easier. TTAX has appeared to get more complicated over the years. This may be the fault of the tax laws and government processes, but it seems to get more confusing each year.

Disappointed this year - there were 2 forms from my investment accounts that weren't pulled into Turbo tax at all, though everything else on that account and another was pulled in. Notably 1099-int where box1 is blank and 1099 OID with box 1 blank as well. Glad I reviewed manually when the numbers didn't seem right. First time using the desktop version for business, maybe it's always been a problem with this version

Unfortunately, the 2025 version of TurboTax is extremely buggy. I have used Intuit for over 20 years and have never experienced so many issues and challenges with the software. I purchased the MAC desktop version because of special filing of community income, and it was a total disaster. I had to figure out how to work around the program to get the forms filled accurately. In addition, the download features were very delayed and buggy as well. I finally had to manually fill my forms from my financial institutions to ensure accuracy.

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and it is easy to use because it guides you through the process by a series of questions you answer. I highly recommend it. You don't have to be a tax expert or anything. Very user friendly and you complete your tax return in the comfort of your home.

I did not appreciate the confusing final filing message stating I could not file as yet. It was referring to an unfinished state tax return but it appeared as if you were not going to let me efile my federal return. The older versions of Turbo recognized that Washington State is a non-income tax state but your new versions cause a lot of unnecessary steps by not recognizing this fact upfront. Hope you can adjust this in the future.

Consistent and reliable product; however, I don't like the fact that some screens "blow up" the magnification to appear huge compared to the general input screen. For example, the screen that let's me choose what to work on has normal size fonts/ magnification for pension, but when I select "edit" the pop up screens for pension have huge font/ magnification. This is very frustrating to deal with. Please fix this for the desktop software.

had heck ting to get the newest copy your website would not allow me to update my visa and once i did buy it it did not get credit to my account instead I received an email asking me to update my payment so it could be charged for what I already had and then an update lost the links to my filled out Tax return and I had to manually find it and open it so TurboTax would know where it was all in all i wasted over a week working thru problems with TurboTax it was a waste of money in fact all the work I had to do to get my taxes done I figure TurboTax owes me but I will not hold my breath cause y'all think you are good, your noy juts better than the alternates I had time to look art i will definitely be looking for more next year.

Long time Turbotax customer. Former CD version was cusstomer friendly, easily could ask simple questions. Not anymore unless paying another $60. Asking the community takes days for a response. I bought the desktop format last year and this year. I didn't like using it last year and this year was even worse. I will be shopping with your compeditor next tax season. Shame on TurboTax for changing a good product thus losing a customer and all of my friends and family customers.

A TT user for many years - Home & Business. Normally straightforward until I realized on 2025 that the health insurance premiums were getting doubled because of TT's requirement that they be input in both of our 2 separate home business. Please fix the issues!!
