My e-filed return got rejected twice, once for missing payer's TIN on 1099-R forms, once for incorrect "self select PIN' in the e-file page. turbotax had a number already in there which i assumed was from last year. i spent over an hour "chatting" with your AI bots on how to fix this and they kept telling me to click on links that did not exist on the task bars or anywhere that I or your bot could find. Bot kept telling me to do things i had already told the bot could not be done because the button bot said to click on could not be found and bot could not tell me where to find it. nor could bot even get me back to the page where i could see what was in the self select PIN box. nor could bot tell me how to change it, how to get it from the IRS or from Turbotaxes records. I even tried to open a previous year's version of turbotax and see if I couild find it on its e-file page. Turbot tax wouldn't let me open my 2024 or 2023 versions w/out a "license" number which i didn't have. so I finally just decided my only option was to file by mail. seems like the program would have caught some of these problems before hand. I've been using your softwar for decades. but this experience has not been satisfactory, and I might have to explore other options. Before I even got to your bot, I had a hard time finding any link in the email you sent that would take me to the place on your website where it could tell me what the problem was. your website leaves much to be desired when help is needed.And now you won't let me submit this review or get past this page.

I have been Turbo tax customer for more than 10 years. Had excellent user experience in general. When filing tax for 2025 found few minor defects. 1. Missing end of my first name when importing tax return from 2024 in PDF format. 2. When entering address in 1099-R I cannot add any character as first letter on the left. I always need to add new characters at 2nd letter from the left and delete the original first letter.

I have used Intuit TurboTax for years and my one complaint is that navigating to a different section is rather somewhat difficult, and I chose this version TurboTax Desktop for it is more secure than an online version, but to navigate to a different section, like to get to find the section where you can enter your estimated tax payments required you to go online. It is the navigating to different sections to enter your data that HAS ALWAYS been very difficult. Note: I graduated from Virginia Tech or more correctly, from Verginia Polytechnic Institute with a BS in physics, with honors. I doubt anyone will ever actually read this suggestion, but I started using Intuit TurboTax when it first came back, anything was better than using the forms available in the US Post Office, or in libraries.

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. I like the product. I like how it guides you and has explanations and or a tab to get more info on an entry item. It is cumbersome when using the complete guide me through each section and a little frustrating for all the items that are always "no" or "0" for all these years. The tax credit for fuels for farm use - Schedule F does not come up automatically - so I have to search for it and it is in the business section - should come up with the farm - schedule F. At the end - the direct deposit info should prefill from last years return and definitely prefill from entering it one time

I regrettably switched to TurboTax because Quickbooks is supposed to be compatible and able to export information directly into TurboTax, but because I used the desktop version, that was not the case. I had to manually enter all the information and also found the TurboTax tax preparation format very confusing and inferior to TaxAct.

I've been using Turbotax for decades and I would normally give this five stars every time. I use the desktop downloaded version only and this is the review for that version only. I prefer the desktop version because of the ability to switch between step by step and forms and that I can see the running total of my either tax payment or ref for both federal and that I File with. This year was particularly frustrating rental property real estate amortization and appreciation system was not completed in a timely manner. Yes I realize the IRS was and putting out their forms And so that into it had to hustle to try to get this system out and I'm glad got it out finally at least the portion that I needed I know that other people problems that section still So I mean if What I did not appreciate is that Turbotax announced the date that it would come and that date passed and they announced the later date and that date passed and announced the later. Many people were asking in the forums on Intuit site when this would be done and the answer was always well it's coming out it should be out by this date and if you sign up for the email updates you'll get an email this update is ready. But myself included and many other people reported getting an email saying the update was ready Kind of gay like oh you're about to keep when it really wasn't you know and then coming and opening Turbotax finding it still wasn't there That was really frustrating they could have been more clear open and honest about when it was coming out and make sure that their notification system was working people given false hope when they got an email saying hey your updates ready and then finding out that it really was not. Unless the online version of Turbotax becomes almost exactly like the downloaded desktop version I will probably never use the online version so into it has plans to stop producing the online version then I'm gonna have to search for another product.

Program is getting more complicated and can not even recognize common mistakes (such as a personal data). When you will receive rejection from e filing, do not expect that program give you clear explanation how to fixed. You need additional money to call for help. AI helper is useless ans can not explain even code of rejection. The quality of Turbo tax significantly decrease in last decade.

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and this year was no exception. With all of the tax law changes, TurboTax had all updates to make this task easy. There was a small glitch when originally e-filing as it was asking for information for a form that was not applicable to us Form 7205. Reading the help comments you had to find it on line 27 of Schedule C which had a filled in 0. Overriding the 0 to leave it blank resolved the problem, and allowed completion of 2025 taxes. I would not choose another brand of tax software. Turbotax is the most thorough, reliable, and ease of use.

I have been using TurboTax since it first came out. It seems like I answer questions that don't record but it catches is on the final review. I have never had an audit and I get all the deductions allowed. I do my taxes, my mothers and sister in-laws.

2 ISSUES WITH THIS PROGRAM THIS YEAR.. PROBLEM CARRYING OVER 2024 TAXES FROM WINDOW 10 COMPUTER TO WINDOW 11 COMPUTER. HAD TO MANUALLY ENTER SCHEDULE C INFORMATION. PROBLEM WITH 1099R SENT TO ME WRONG AND TURBO TAX DIDN'T CATCH IT WAS MISSING LINE 16. STILL HATE THE WAY WE HAVE TO ENTER THE 1099 INV AND DIV ETC. GO BACK TOO THE WAY WE DID IT 5 YEARS AGO!
