You no longer allow one free state form/filing? Grrrrr. ALSO, the filing process is long and complicated. What's up with the need to report the AGI??? Please let us know how to write that, with a $, with a decimal point? With a comma or not? I found the AGI easily, but still...a step I'd never seen before. Seemed like a lot of steps in order to file. Double grrrrr. The first time I tried to file, I couldn't because the entire return needed to be updated...please advise me to update at the start of clicking onto the return, rather than interrupt the filing transmittal process.

Was very compilated this year having to get windows. also getting the program to download was so hard was about to forget using turbo tax after using this program for over10 years. i hope next year is better With the problems this year was hard to give a high rating.

Once again, I found TurboTax Home & Business 2026 easy to download, install, and use for my Federal return and two State returns. I appreciate the features, the built-in support, and the ease of completing the returns, while the return review features give me added assurance that my returns will be complete, accurate, and accepted upon submittal

I have used Turbo Tax for over 30 years. I find it easy to use and have never needed to use their expert services. I like the feature that exports the previous year's tax return making it easier to prepare my taxes. I mostly only need to change the numbers.

I've used Turbo Tax for years without too many software issues but found them extremely glitchy this year. I had one problem I spent 20 hours talking to TurboTax experts about. TurboTax started my 2025 return with me owing $523 before I entered a single piece of data. We found the source but even resolutions could not, did not find a solution. No matter what we tried, it kept repopulating a 5329 form and penalty. Deleting all the information from the form didn't work, removing/deleting the forms didn't work, overriding didn't work, recreating the form entirely with the correct information didn't work. So I found the solution on my own. I started over from scratch, didn't import at all, and had to recreate dozens of depreciation schedules and carryovers. It took days all because of a software glitch that wouldn't allow us to correct a problem.

In general easy to use. Annoyed by frequent pop-ups and ads for online Turbotax - "are you sure you want to use desktop Turbotax?". The need to manually make corrections to cost basis for options and RSUs is tedious as is the need to figure out the distribution of dividends between state in tax-exempt funds. Finally, a real pain that I couldn't port info for an LLC direct from online Quickbooks.

I had issue downloading data from my Vanguard account. Had to enter it manually. Took several calls to TurboTax and Vanguard to figure out how to input the data manually. We jointly determined that the problem was caused by Vanguard transitioning my old account to a new brokerage account. The Turbotax people actually determined the problem but it took several phone calls back and forth. Could have been quicker. then you get 5stars.

I have been a user of the desktop version of TurboTax Home & Office for several years. I find the product easy to use, the support provided is petty good although I do find the need to review federal and state publications for clarification. The pop up explanations are very helpful in terms of directing my efforts. This years Fidelity interface was terrible,downloads via Fidelity were impossible.couldn't make it work. No issues with Vanguard or Schwab. You lack interfaces with the regional banks I use. I miss not having Its Deductible information to value non cash donations.

The program was good. BUT all the EXTRA steps to get my prepaid auto program every year was terrible. For years you sign in, you go to your purchase and download what you paid for in November 2025 ( I think Nov.)? Why do you want to make someone who has paid then jump through hoops plus more hoops once you get the email to download the program. SHAME ON YOU! WE DO NOT NEED THIS! DO NOT share my email address.

My overall experience with Intuit has been less than great. Too many sales phone calls when I even asked last fall to not make sales calls to me. Then there are all the offers made (up selling) while preparing the return. And that is not saying anything about only being directed by search engines to only the internet version of Turbo Tax when what I wanted was a desktop version.
