I've used Turbo Tax for years, Turbo Tax is no longer easy to work with! This year I ran into a few things that took me way too long to find out how to get out of or get around; and I'm convinced it wasn't an accident. It seems they have purposely created only options to funnel you into adding on and paying more. I will definitely be looking for other options for tax software to use next year.

Very confusing.... been filing my family tax returns for going on 40 yrs and never experienced so much confusion. What with "$40" for "tax preparation"... we already prepared the return... to a long time due to a lot of confusion... but we got thru it... now $40 charge for "tax preparation".... WOW!!! Very disappointed.

Terrible that you thought it useful to remove "It's Deductible" from your program. What purpose did it serve you that you thought it better to remove an aspect of this program that people have been using for years. People are EXTREMELY ANGRY, as am I, as it caused me many more hours to finish my return than I would have normally spent. THIS IS AND WAS A VERY BAD MOVE ON YOUR PART...and no amount of "we apologize for the inconvenience" platitudes will make up for it. Am rethinking ever using your programming again....losing a longtime customer is very much at risk. Lastly....your idea of what constitutes profanity is ridiculous.....especially give it's what people do every day with a straw.....but then again....it really applies in this case BIG TIME.

While it may not be perfect, it's pretty close! I have been using TurboTax for decades. It steps you through the process and allows you to look at tax code, get help, look at the forms along the way, and in general makes tax preparation something the little guy can do. Thanks TurboTax.

Every year I use TurboTax, and every year I'm disappointed by the lack of improvements and places where it obviously should be able to calculate or import information, and it just says "enter this yourself" . I also dislike the prodding to use the online product or pay extra for simple questions.

The importing from financial institutions was very clunky and not as smooth ha it has been in the past. What's the point of importing data if I am required to log into the account to collect the document number. In past years, I would login via TurboTax and then import.

My overall experience with Intuit has been less than great. Too many sales phone calls when I even asked last fall to not make sales calls to me. Then there are all the offers made (up selling) while preparing the return. And that is not saying anything about only being directed by search engines to only the internet version of Turbo Tax when what I wanted was a desktop version.

Some features are not visible unless I run the program as administrator. Depreciation is difficult for me which is part of the reason why I use Turbo Tax, I had to pull the data myself from 2024 taxes which TT has done for me in the past, I also had to figure my own calculations - TT did not do that for me either. Also had to force the American Opportunity credit - TT would not add it even though I qualified for it.

DID NOT GIVE ME OPTIONS TO SAVE DURING DATA ENTRY PROCESS. LOCKED UP AFTER 3 HOURS WORK AND LOST EVERYTHING BECAUSE I HAD TO FORCE QUIT. THEN HAD TO START OVER. ALSO COULD NOT PRINT JUST MY STATE FORM FOR MAILING (MORE DIFFICULT THAN PREVIOUS YEARS. I HAVE BEEN USING TURBOTAX FOR NEARLY 20 YEARS. TOO MANY ADS FOR ADDITIONAL TUROTAX SDRVICES. I PAID.FOR THE PROGRAM, LET ME GET IT DONE WITHOUT THE USED CAR SALESMAN APPROACH.

I have used TurboTax for over 40 years. Each year now it seems they make it harder and longer to input the data. I have asked 4 times for the form PATR-1099 to be included in forms. I find the Step-by-Step could be more precise and streamlined with more copied from the prior year information. Last but not least, they need to update it sooner for tax planning purposes and lower the price.
