I have been using Turbotax for many years. It is reliable and guides me through the process of filing efficiently and intelligently. I have confidence the results over the years I have used. It is easy to iteract with and the reference explanations are clear and concise. I will use it again next year. it is a fine product.

I have used this product for years but this year a clinch kept adding in a W-2 that does not exist but was automatically added. This caused a real problem as I had not received a W-2 form for additional statutory income. I finally was able to file listing a zero. I hope I don't get audited!

When the return gets more difficult, too often TurboTax gets "quiet". That is, it either asks the customer to do more to help TurboTax or has new screens that, for the most part, do not have those helpful hyperlinks to explain things. Also, particularly egregious in my opinion, it for the first time showed me that I had a fee/interest on the printout on the cover page. No clue before that! And, could I find out why, what it was all about, how it was calculated, etc.??? NO! I had to do some research outside of TurboTax to see various chatter on the topic. So, it was about Form 2210. But could I find Form 2210 in my FULL list of forms?? NO. I had to dig in, find how I could 'challenge' the fee via TurboTax, annualized my data/input, etc. That let me lower it and finally see the Form 2210.

You stopped providing the worksheets with the online version so I had to buy the Desktop version. Then you ended Windows 10 support before it was actually expired which made me switch to a different computer. TurboTax Desktop did not pull all related data from last year's taxes like it should have. It was also missing quite a bit of guidance that should have been included.

The summary pages throughout the interview process are supposed to list the current amount and the prior-year's amount side-by-side. I noticed this year that when I look at the summary pages that quite often the current year amount remains 0, even though I've clicked into the form and entered all the information. It causes confusion as to what I've done and what needs to be done still.

There were glitches in downloading and within the filing process. Several times the updates did not finalize, and I could not get into the form. I had to come back days later to continue working on my return. The new features within the process were off putting and made the process less user friendly, as if you were dumbing down the interface.

Key functionality was eliminated in the 2025 version. Its deductible is missing and replaced with a terrible search feature that was so bad I had to find something else on the internet. They also use an AI bot for help that provides usesless search help that isn't relevant for the search question.

Very disappointed with TurboTax 2025 Home & Business. I have used TurboTax for years, but it seems the last few years there are more and more glitches in the software. For 2025, I was defaulted to "Standard Deduction" after entering itemized deductions and could not change back to "Itemized". I also did not have the option to use my Federal itemized deductions for my California state taxes. Hoping the 2026 software is better.

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now and I can confidently say that it is user friendly and easy to use. The federal and state returns I have e-filed have mad e tax preparation easier that having to bring all your paperwork to a tax preparer. I love the availability of Audit Defense as well, as it provides an additional layer of peace of mind in knowing that I am covered in case of an audit.

deceptive and tricked me to purchase a service that i never needed, wanted or even will need since i was past the need part to checking out, now i am being double charged for services that i do not need or use and if you are not going to refund my purchase, i will end up cancelling all additional services ordered and call my card to dispute the charges.
