Importing information into TurboTax was a nightmare. I had to repeat it many times and then where were errors that I had to manually correct. I have requested for YEARS that charities appear in alphabetical order rather than randomly. TurboTax ignores me.

Generally good. I've been using it for years. But one issue is still murky - the entry of the IP PIN numbers. It should be clearer that if one needs to (has to) enter the IRS's IP PIN codes, it has to be done differently than in the 5-digit passcode fields. It's a shame that that (actually critical) detail, which caused rejection of the forms is not handled better.

I HAVE BEEN USING TURBOTAX FOR MANY YEARS AND THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST YEAR EVER. WHEN I HAD A SIMPLE QUESTION "YOU ASKED FOR $5.00 PER QUESTION, UNBELIVEABLE!' THIS IS THE VERY FIRST TIME I AM VERY LIKELY WILL "NOT" BUY NEXT YEAR AND WITH SOMEONE ELSE. WHEN I DID ASKED A QUESTION THE ANSWERS WERE UNRELATED TO THE QUESTION, NO HELP AT ALL. GOOD LUCK?

I have been using TurboTax for DECADES. Your slick attempt to extract $40 from me for a "free" federal filing is reprehensible. Then, on top of that, refusing all of my cards that had a expiration date month above "9", to force me into the aforementioned scam, borders on criminal. Rest assured, if you do not respond to this note, I WILL look for any alternative for my tax needs, other than you, in the future.

Turbotax does its job, A few small glitches. Wound not import a 2024 tax file; Had to open it as a new tax filing to get it to import. Insisted I had a Canadian Retirement account when I don't. But all in all it is a major step up from the competition. I have used Turbotax for over a decade on PC and now this year on Mac (no win 11 for me) It was just as easy.

We love Turbo Tax. I just wish you'd give free Turbo Tax Premier to the Disabled Veterans, rather than just active duty. We'd still be active if not for being wounded and later medically retired. It used to be so easy year to year to do our taxes with you. We were sad to see that we no longer qualified for your free version because of active duty status

Recent changes are too complicated when entering interest and dividends from different accounts from the same institution. Cannot tell which account until after you commit to entering interest, dividends or stocks/bonds. Then you are locked into that action even if that account doesn't have that type of income. I've had to delete the account and then re-enter it. I'm thinking of changing to different software in the future. I volunteer to do taxes for the elderly and the other sofwares are much easier.

TT had yet one more bug this year on form 8829 when you have two businesses sharing the same home office. It was incorrectly adding together the RE Taxes and trying to limit it to $40k Salt Deduction despite the amount being below $40K as TT is adding it together even though the boxes on sharing the home office was correctly checked between the two businesses, Give that 2024 had a lower $10K SALT limit this new edit check makes no sense. As it only is applying the portion of the home office that was split. This cost me 10 hours to troubleshoot and do my own work around to address. I also found a bug in 2024 related to NYS Tuition Deduction that it was picking up incorrectly off the federal form and incorrectly giving me a credit which I do not get as out of state non resident which also was not resolved and had to do a work around that also took hours.

i HAD GREAT DIFFICULTY LOADING THE DESKTOP VERSION ON A NEW LAPTOP. I ALSO RECEIVED NUMEROUS OFFERS FOR THE INTUIT TURBOTAX SOFTWARE FROM APPARENTLY UNAUTHORIZED RE-SELLERS OF YOUR SOFTWARE. AND IT MADE IT DIFFICULT TO GET ANY INTUIT PRODUCT EXCEPT THE ONLINE VERSIONS. THEN I TRIED TO LOAD MY 2024 RETURN FROM MY OLD LAPTOP WITH NO SUCCESS. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! FINALLY IT WOULDNT LET ME E-FILE A SECOND STATE RETURN. THE ERROR MESSAGE WAS CLEARLY INCORRECT. I WILL FOLLOW UP WITH TURBOTAX AND IF NECESSARY WITH THE STATE OF INDIANA TO TRY TO E-FILE THAT RETURN.

I still wish the cd's were still available for purchase. Even if there was an upcharge option, I would still be interested in purchasing. I am worried that after 3 years, I won't be able to access my taxes, and I will still have to print out everything and keep it for forever.
