There seems to be a problem with Schedule E Rental/Royalty income. I do not have any royalty income, just rental income. After completing the return, when I click to file return, the system keeps on sending me back to schedule E to correct error for royalty income. The software will not file the return. I have print and mail the returns. However, I have been charged for filing electronically the state return.

I use every year because TT will pull in the prior year's information. However, it is sketchy when pulling in pdfs - sometimes it will and sometimes it won't -- it would be great if it would pull in all the pdfs I have for my tax year and sort them out and import the data where it belongs then ask me to fill in any blanks comparing it to the previous year for anything that is different or missing. I do think it strange that it asks me if I'd like to help out others with their tax questions -- why would I have trustworthy answers for their tax situations? Unless my occupation was Tax Advisor or Tax Auditor or something equally applicable. This year I had to search for a couple of the documents I knew I needed to enter but they were missing from the Q&A guided tour. If I hadn't known better, I would have missed out on some very important tax information that I needed to report. Also, TT shouldn't keep asking me to file a state return when it already is aware of where I live and where I earned my income for the tax year. That's an old bug.

There are about 10 questions that must be answered before you get to filling out expenses for Sch C and another 5-10 before you can fill out office in home, and probaby another 5-10 before you can fill out auto exp. These questions are the same every time. Once you have answered them it would so much easier if you could select to skip those questions and get right in inputting your numbers.

I have been using TurboTax for years, but will never do it again unless I get a lot of help following this review. As soon as I was finished with my taxes, I clicked review and the program suddenly added a bunch of new forms. I had a specialist help me remove the forms and then it happened again so I deleted the forms myself, which is an involved process. Then both my state and federal returns were rejected and I'm unable to submit my taxes.

first, you owe me a $10 credit on my state filing that you promised but did not do. you wanted to charge me a $40 processing fee for something else, you are very misleading in your advertising,I do NOT recommend any Intuit products and especially Turbo Tax.

I have used TurboTax to file my Federal and State income taxes for 30 years now and am pleased with how easy it is to use, how accurate and thorough it is, and the fact that it has saved us from having to spend hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars per year in accountant and bookkeeping fees. Most years, I have received a refund, while in other years, I've owed taxes. TurboTax has helped me ensure my taxes are done correctly.

There were a lot of things that I did not understand. But I consider our taxes complicated because we have a business that is multi-member LLC, and we have some real estate rentals. I do not blame Turbo Tax for my misunderstanding; it is just doing taxes in general. I did contact a support client whom Mira was extremely helpful, patience, and gave me the assurance to keep going.

Used TTax many years. First year I have had multiple errors stating "Hmm looks like we've hit a snag", then "we recommend you visit the last topic...". Then I was not allowed to enter info! This happened many times in many areas! Never had any problems like this before after many years. No, I was not the problem! I had to enter info with "forms" pages! Ridiculous!

The fact that you guys talk about being user friendly and at the same time cause 4 extra hours frenetic search on how to fix YOUR BUG inserting that stupid value of zero under the line 27b (Schedule C) and then not finding a simple, interactive way to allow us to enter back and "reach" line 27b (or else for that matter) is so preposterous!! Especially when the AI search bar is NOT ALLOWING you to search on any specific topics but just throw at you 3-4 alternatives, where there is no simple "jump to Schedule C" ( or similar included SO RIDICULOUS !!! All that while waiting 3-4- hours to find a way in order t e -file the return, OMG! Intuit, do you know how many business people e that I know that are leaving you after 10-15 years of using you !! All because you intentionally (trying to make your" AI experts" busy) or unintentionally, just making a poor product in that ever fierce competitive tax filing software market...you say "we listen on you..." so listen and get better. ....still loyal customer

I have been using this product for many many years. Generally it's pretty good, but continues to have issues leaving the user to figure them out on their own. Latest example, state tax reported "we don't see that you reported any depreciation". The fact is TurboTax had been calculating depreciation on these properties for at least five years. Had to manually go to each depreciation worksheet and enter the numbers manually, when they were right there in the program.
