The software is excellent, easy to use and accurate. But the $45 fee to pay federal taxes from a state refund feels like a hidden charge and undermines an otherwise great experience.

I think I'm supposed to get a free state filing with TurboTax, then it tells me I have to pay $25 PLUS a $40 processing fee! Unbelievable after I spent $120 for the software to begin with.

Had a little difficulty managing the installation software to my desk top, used the you tube video to assist me. Had to seek help from TT on the topic of IP Pin added before I process the return.

Most of the time the program is excellent. Every now and then a situation comes up that needs a slightly different approach but the program doesn't allow excursions. I would like to be able to override the program every now and then.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years, over 30. It does get better each year. I would like see better explanations on amended forms with instructions.

Clearly not tested well, at lest not by English speakers. The layouts atrocious. This product has really gone downhill. It is hard to avoid clicking on an additional cost you don't want.

Data downloaded from my bank had numerous transactions that was missing data. Turbo Tax required me to complete each and every one of them even though the data was the same for each - 60 repeated transactions in all

It does not download multiple individual and joint account data or handle self-employment retirement contributions correctly. These must be looked up and entered manually. Big hassle.

I HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR OVER A DECADE--TO DO NOT ONLY MY TAXES, BUT THOSE OF 3-4 OTHERS. IT HAS USUALLY BEEN AN EASY TASK--AND SEEMS TO GET BETTER EACH YEAR.

First year using TurboTax for home+business. Have used H&R Block for over 2 decades. Very easy to use! I am permanently switching to TurboTax after trying it out this year!
