Overall great product. Easy to use for both business and personal taxes. I have been using it for over 20 years. I especially like the option to pick and choose what I work on for data input. Given my familiarity with the product and tax filing I don't need to use the option to walk me through it. I also like the feature to switch between the specific form format and the topical data entry format to check my work. Another great feature is the ability for Turbo Tax to gather, save and process previous year's data, especially for the business depreciation.

The internet requirements make it quite a chore and I will most likely seek a different alternative next year. I have used turbo tax for over 20 years and always buy the desk top version because i live on a large farm without internet. Additionally, the new "two factor authentication" was a VERY inconvenient surprise. I originally used my landline for the phone number and never changed it, causing me to spend hours on the phone with customer service until I got someone to go to my house and answer the phone while I was in town at an internet location. Ended up having to do this AGAIN for STATE download. Your people assume every business has internet, but were you too busy eating to consider that most farms do not? Cows don't live on Main Street, USA and the federal government still considers internet "Entertainment" as is Cable TV. Hence local providers are not required to provide service (electricity and wired telephone ARE mandated by federal law to be provided as necessities). Satellite internet is expensive and doesn't work in poor weather, which is the only time I am inside. Although this may be the "Digital Era" of the Oil Age, feeding humans is the single most important thing since the beginning of existence and will be as long a mankind is around.

My Turbo Tax experience was a nightmare this year. You owe me!! I had to pay for a desktop version when I wanted to use web version. I spent about 15 hours just entering the information and even then it was not correct. I'm not sure its correct even now! Horrible. Main problem was reporting 1099-G

Recently retired, I had time to attempt doing my own taxes and saving money not to pay someone. I found TurboTax confusing at first but as I worked through it multiple times, I found that it is extremely easy to do. If one reads and follows directions and gets all the documents needed to populate the information, it's a breeze. If you have questions, there are several ways to find the answers within TurboTax. I look forward to using it again next year since I built my knowledge and confidence this year.

Federal and State returns completed using Turbotax software.. Turbotax software used for over 20 years. This year could not efile because of error message IND 031 04. Have verified that information entered on current year return was correct and still was not accepted. I have spent at least 8 hours trying to resolve and I now give up and will mail. Your AI assistance is AWFUL. I will look for other tax software for 2026 returns

I started with TurboTax Deluxe in 2007. In later years after I started my small business I switched to TurboTax Home and Business. One year I hired a "Professional Tax Service" who made a basic error and I had to amend with TurboTax. Another year when I was audited, I chose a local CPA with great recommendations online. That was a wasted hour of my money and my life! I had more knowledge from TurboTax, then he had from school.

The question on the taxability of social security income earned outside the US should have a LARGE warning if the user says "yes" to confirm their choice as it is easily overlooked and the wrong answer can have a huge impact on the tax liability or refund. I only caught my error because my social security was being shown as zero taxable didn't make sense so I started digging and found the question I answered wrong at the BOTTOM of the screen.

I've used TurboTax for many years and always have found that the process is very understandable and thorough. It is easy to file federal and state returns, and I'm kept informed of the progress. Every time I check the prepared file, I find it complete with all entries totally accurate.

I've used turbo tax for many years. This years was not friendly. e.g. It printed Form 2210 page 3 twice, the first time with data and the second time without data; I had issues when doing itemized deductions, we have SSA 1099, and when doing itemized deductions it included the health insurance twice.

I have used Turbotax Home and Business for many years. This year was the first year that I would encounter an error when I go to pay for the State. It would not let me proceed. Upon numerous conversations with Turbotax and trying some things on my end, it still would not let me put in my card information to charge the state e file, therefore I had to mail them in, something I haven't had to do in many years. Please fix whatever this issue is, because I won't be using Turbotax again unless it's figured out.
