I have used Turbo Tax for years. It works fine. My only issue is that when I go back to a section I have to walk through all this steps in the beginning and end such as when I enter rental income and expenses. So this is annoying. Seems that Turbo tax programmers think that you a gong to get all the nubs right the first time. Which would be great in a perfect world. So if I were to suggest a change would be to allow a way to bypass that beyond clicking ot another subject then start the previous subject again. Reduce the clicks.

Double clicking an existing 2025 return failed to load screen. Had to instead quit TurboTax, then launch just the app. Once app loaded, open file of tax return. Bad. Have an Arm/M1 based mac. Was forced to install Rosetta to get TurboTax running. This is NOT good. Rosetta does not "uninstall" and I was keeping this mac "clean" for work reasons. You guys lazy.

My only issue this year was selecting the environment. I have always downloaded your program, this year I was prompted to use the online version. I said OK. Next time I worked on taxes, I was prompted to download the program, so I said OK. The next time I went back, I was again prompted to use the online version. Please make up your mind.

I have used TT ever since i can remember; 40+ years? (I remember long ago having the paper tax forms, but not actually filing wtih them.) This includes my wife's sole-proprietor budiness for the past 20 or more years now. Never seriously considered another product. Step by step instructions make it easy to do, and explanations and links are very helpful in understanding clearly what applies and is needed. (Most of the time; what isn't is probably best left to a tax expert to address.) Doing it myelf has taught me a lot regarding what can or cannot be inlcuded, record keepng, etc. Preparing all the info/recrods takes 5 days, which woudl have to be done if I hired somene. The easy part is actually doing the return via TT - that takes one day,

It's overall really good but I think you have some bugs in the health insurance questionnaire section when you click months not insured. Look into that. I've seen complaints online about that from others too. Additionally, you were unclear in the IRA contributions section. I'm not sure why TT said not to enter the contributed amount that was on my W2 saying you already deducted it from my income on the appropriate form. No you didn't. I had to input it manually myself.

Even with your great software, I have to sweat in order to finish it. I used the Life Experts, it is good. Some hints for me to finish it in a new way. Google could have done the same for me. But I do not mind using your expert. TT is missing a Text-SEARCH feature within a form. Also annoying is in Form mode, no Search icon even to search the form name. BTW, this survey is very bad UI and UX

I've used Turbo Tax for years, Turbo Tax is no longer easy to work with! This year I ran into a few things that took me way too long to find out how to get out of or get around; and I'm convinced it wasn't an accident. It seems they have purposely created only options to funnel you into adding on and paying more. I will definitely be looking for other options for tax software to use next year.

Love the ability and help TurboTax provides with filling taxes independently. I have used the desktop version in the past but my 2025 Mac system had some glitches this year that made some of the work through complicated with errors I had to manually fix in the files themselves.

This time I had to use windows 11 and the experience was very difficult, I had to have my son who is the administrator sign every time I was filling out the information and log-out because there were updates, before the updates were done automatically no need of administrator. I save the files several time an every time I came back I had to re-entry information I had input before

I do not want to pay an additional fee to efile - I am happy to print 6 pages for my state return and mail it. But why doesn't Turbotax give me that option? It took my bank account info, but it didn't populate in the return, so I am unsure if I need to write a check or not. This section is not user friendly.
