I really appreciate the ability to download trade data from the brokerage firms. One thing new to me this year was reporting the sale of collectibles for Schedule D. TT wasn't real clear on how to open up and manually enter the info on collectible sales after I finished downloading the brokerage data. I was able to guess and figure it out under the term "Other" but I think that TT should have more clearly guided me to that application and displayed an example. I had a confidence problem until I worked my way through it and saw the final result on Schedule D. (I am happy with the way it worked out; was just nervous doing it.)

I will always be upset with Intuit/TurboTax for ending It'sDeductible. Would've been 4 or 5 stars if you'd kept It'sDeductible. Useful product, but you killed a piece that made TurboTax unique. Some of us really do donate a lot of things. And some of us really do rack up the deductions higher than the newly raised Standard Deduction.

The help files did not bring up information as it has done in the past regarding how to enter a specific document into the tax form. I was repeatedly asked to login then pay for accessing any information. I ended up using Google to find the answer- which was linked to a Turbo Tax file. I made sure to bookmark the answer for future reference.

Have been using you for years but it's getting worse not better. The WV state return that's included never goes smoothly, it seems I'm always having to recheck and manually complete some forms. Fed works ok but it's expensive. I really only continue with you because it's easy to import the information from the previous year and I don't want to have to manually configure my business depreciation.

If could give a zero i would. Trying to force people to use the online that you neglected the desktop version. Been using Turbo Tax for 20 years now. I think this is my last year! Spent hours trying to figure out this maze of crazy! Your help is 0 help, your search is 0 help. Trying to find the 540 ES anywhere was a joke! The only help was ChatGTP.

I absolutely HATE that I need to have an account to use Turbo Tax. I don't want an account, I want no part of my taxes being online (beyond e-file). I detest the fact that an account is required. Furthermore, there is no justifiable to require Windows 11. This must be collusion between Intuit & Microsoft. While I managed to workaround to the Windows 11 requirement, it's yet another completely unnecessary hoop I have to jump through.

Once again, and for the last 35 years, TurboTax has made assembling and cmpleting my tax returns very easy. This yer's product was clear, easy to follow and provided the resources I needed to do my tax returns quickly, without worrying about the accuracy of my return. Well done to Intuit!

The importing from financial institutions was very clunky and not as smooth ha it has been in the past. What's the point of importing data if I am required to log into the account to collect the document number. In past years, I would login via TurboTax and then import.

As always, directions are clear and concise. If you have good reading comprehension, using the product should be easy. The only negative this year was the loss of the donation calculator. It took me hours longer than normal to enter the charitable donations because each item had to be entered in its entirety. Don't know why that particular feature was removed but you would be doing everyone a big favor if you would put it back in next year's version. I almost dropped the rating to 4 stars because of this, but decided that on the whole, TurboTax does deserve a 5 star rating.

I've used TurboTax since, decades ago, it was MacInTax. It's still good, but I resent the increasing number of solicitations and upsale attempts. And some of the explanations could be a whole lot simpler. That said, TurboTax is comprehensive, runs reliably and gets me all the tax info I need.
