It does not download multiple individual and joint account data or handle self-employment retirement contributions correctly. These must be looked up and entered manually. Big hassle.

Turbotax is becoming more tedious (In Mac Desktop Deluxe) version. also is only available on 6 year old Mac Intel platform. will not use again if no Mac Universal or Apple Silicon version is produced.

The changes you made to the estimated tax calculation for the next year are bad. You no longer have comparative numbers to prior year, which makes that process harder. I did not like that at all.

getting use to it but prefer last years I believe that you're trying to incorporate conditions where you're addressing fed Joint and living in two states filing state married but filing separately. verifying.

The merging process from my brokage account is not as smooth as prior years. e.g. When interest and dividends were posted to my turbo tax account, stocks were not posted.

Still the best. Incorporated all changes in both federal and state returns. Quick, easy, complete. And I have always liked the "review" feature that identifies any needed changes!

Software works (barely), but crashes. It has been 5+ years after the release of Apple Silicon, yet TurboTax still uses Rosetta 2 emulation. Very lazy programing and not customer focused program!

this time a 4 star. i experienced identity theft in 2025 so i got an IP number for the tax return. when i got this number, it informed me that i would require this Ip pin number.

It would not let me deduct the way that I use too and I'm no sure I was able to deduct as much as I could have but the standard deductions seem to be accurate though not 100% sure. It did make it a lot faster.
