Just got the swing set together that I bought for the grandkids. It is so sturdy and I bet it lasts a lifetime. The kids love it and I can’t keep them off of it. Also, the company is super to work with. The slide has some damage in shipping and I called and was told, “No problem. All we need is the model number and product ID and we will get it to you in a couple of weeks.” Best company and best swing!

Everything is great and the kids love it! Assembly would have been faster if the kids weren't helping and if all the parts were labeled better. You really have to look closely at the assembly instructions and compare parts to make sure you are using the correct one or it is oriented in the correct direction. The hardware parts packages were labeled amazingly. There is a spare parts bag too!

I love this playground. I was a little nervous with the different additions, however my son loves to spin around, and now he can do it himself. I paid to have lifetime come and install, and glad I did. They had it built in about an hour. Completely worth the money.

We love this swingset! It’s a little big for my 2 year old to climb into herself but I have no doubt by 3, she will be all over it. We bought additional swing to switch out the standard ones and my kids love it. We also move around the swing configuration so it is customizable. It’s sturdy, great quality, and everything we hoped it would be.

Nice place set Very durable so far no real complaints besides the instructions being outdated and slightly confusing but the new version is online. Should be friendlier with instructions lots of little bolts and pieces. Bottom line though the product is good the company was easy to talk to I have no complaints other than the instructions. For some reason the chalkboard did not line up with the holes had to drill new ones through the plastic but no big deal.

I would like to share that I am very pleased with the swing set and my kids have a blast while playing on it. It is a high quality unit and appears that it will last a long time. My only complaint was the assembly time. I spent about 8 hours on assembly, but I was by myself. I recommend two or three people for assembly. Other than that I was and have been very happy with this purchase.

Bought 90042 swingset for grandkids in 2013. It's their favorite toy and the Lifetime quality is excellent. This product and this company customer service is as good as it gets. After 6 years of frequent use still in excellent condition. Have replaced the climbing net due to sun deterioration of rope. Replacing the footpads which we damaged moving the set. Damage was our fault, but company replaced free. We have also bought Lifetime plastic tables. This company makes excellent products that last and last.

To start we purchased this set because it required less routine maintenance as compared to the wooden sets sold at various big box stores. It also had a nice mix of elements/features, and when inspecting similar lifetime sets found locally we found them to be well built with a nice finish. The delivery came in about 2 weeks on an extra long pallet, 3 times the length of a a standard pallet. The delivery company was ABF, and the driver took great care in unloading the set, and encouraged us to inspect for damage. A standard pallet Jack could not move the set, so the pieces were off loaded individually. Overall we found the instructions to be good, and we didn’t have to use any of the provided spare parts. A level area to start is key, or find a method to have each leg be made level. Additionally, we found a response from lifetime to a posted question online regarding the placement of the set in relation to the recommended depth of mulch. This is important as the set is not to be placed on top of the mulch, and the instructions do not address this well. We had 2-3 adults aid in assembling at various points, and it definitely cannot be easily assembled solo. The set could be put together in a weekend 10-12 hours, possibly less time with more aid. Overall not a hard build, but definitely time consuming. I would classify myself as an advanced DIYer/ civil engineer professionally.

I love Amy! She was very quick in assisting me through our email exchange and has registered my playset after I got (I tried to do it myself) but she personally handled it herself. She was very patient and generous about my requests and concerns. The only thing I wish would improve are our slide came in scuffed (could’ve covered with something, most hardwares were easily got broken (glad we own a hardware store so that’s not a problem but my anxiety was through the roof because they kept breaking on us), and labels on the big parts (we kept guessing which is which—we flipped the tubes for climbing board but didn’t make any difference; just my OCD seeing the holes). It very easy to assemble and I recommend 2 people—we did things separately; Took us approx 6 hrs with 2 sets of tools. We had Youtube and the physical manual as our guide. I’m 5’4 and 150lbs and have no problems with lifting anything… Just reaching lol, so make sure you have a 4-step stool for the roof and the swings! We bought this for my 2-y/o toddler. At first I was scared, even though she’s at 86%, I could tell she struggled a bit because of “height issues”. I tried everything before letting her use each part, and my husband did, too. I’m so glad we went with Lifetime; I initially considered getting wooden one but I can’t stand splinters and the look after 1-2 yrs. This is definitely sturdy and can hold our weight together (my husband, my toddler, and I). So we’re enjoying it, too!! I hope this would last at least 10 years. Follow the directions closely and the set goes together very easily. The set is very sturdy. I didn't anchor it and my grandchildren swing high causing very little lifting of the legs of the swing. The issue I had was with the shipping company. The shipping company destination was only 7 miles from me. They shipped the swing across the country, but when it arrived to the shippers destination, they failed to meet the delivery date because they wanted more money to deliver it to my home even though my purchase already included delivery. Lifetime and Homedepot took care of the extra cost they wanted.
