Great product!

Was able to assemble fully in around 10 hours (including unpacking). Was able to do it by myself but a second pair of hands would have been helpful in a couple steps. Great quality and good assembly instructions. Don’t fully tighten down bolts until you complete each step. Otherwise you’ll be going back and loosening bolts to get things to fit. Everything is a tight snug fit.

Big Stuff Swing Set

It took my son and daughter (both engineers) about 9 hours to construct this in my yard for my grandsons. Definitely a job for two or more. My 3 yr old and 6 yr old grandsons love it! As one said, "So you got this so we wouldn't get bored when we come to your house!" I didn't think that was a problem, but I appreciated his candor! The 3 yr old is able to climb the rope, the ladder, and the wall. It's only been up for about 2 months, but so far we've had no complaints. I'm really glad I made this purchase!

Kids use this daily

Purchased this 4 years ago and I think it is used daily most of the year. Often used by 3 or more at a time. It has held up well under this kind of use. Everything still working. Just recently found a crack in the top bracket around a weld. When I contacted customer service a replacement part was shipped very quickly. Thank you again Heidi

More than I wanted to spend but worth EVERY penny!

Shipping was definitely a trick. At first I was frustrated by how slow it seemed for this to arrive. Until it DID arrive and I realized just how big and heavy the crate was that contained all the pieces. This was delivered by a freight truck with a lift gate and the pallet jack was useless. So have a little patience from when you order to when it’s delivered. This thing came in a HUGE crate - if you don’t have a forklift - a really strong pry bar and hammer will help you open the crate so you can unload the boxes separately. Start early in the morning! Open ALL the boxes first. Keep the contents of each box together!! You will jump around from box to box on occasion. The directions were pretty clear but the only thing lacking was what piece was located in what box. We had to dig around a bit to find what we needed, but it was pretty obvious when we found it. You need two or more people and some step stools/free standing ladders to put this thing together. Whatever you do, don’t use a battery operated drill. You’re going to snap more bolts then you have available if you do. And they do give you a few extras. Thank goodness. Put everything together before you tighten all the bolts. Even only hand tightened, it’s very sturdy. The directions were very easy to follow but you are not going to get this put together in a day with only two people. The accessories and finishing touches will be day two. (The ground wasn’t level where we were setting it up, so we had to dig holes and square everything up. So our process took much longer than expected.) With that said - this was the BEST investment I ever made for my two kids, ages 4 & 5. They have this thing mastered and play on it several times a week. There is so much for them to do. It was more than I wanted to spend - but with plywood cost nowadays, this thing cost just as much as something half its size, made out of wood. And it’s going to last forever. My wooden one that it replaced was rotted at the base within a couple of years. This thing will still be standing when my children’s grandchildren are around to play on it. Funny story - We started with the monkey bars and accidentally flipped the Fireman's pole and slide. Operator error, we went back and looked at the directions and it was our mistake, not the manual. By the time we realized it, we were much too far into the installation to correct it and now the footprint was much larger than the space we had available. We ended up putting the other slide over half of the rope climb and used 2 inch plywood to create a rock wall where the slide should’ve gone. It’s certainly not as pretty as it was intended, but it works. My kids LOVE this thing. Our house is play date central because of it. Worth every penny! My only critique is I wish they made a mirror image version for you to choose from. Otherwise, very happy customer.

Great Playset

Excellent quality. Kids at our church love it. Be sure you follow the instructions to the letter. They are very specific. If you try to skip a step, you'll end up doing rework. Trust me. The instructions are well thought out and laid out very well, but you must adhere to them exactly as written.

Excellent product and customer service!

Our kids love this swing set! And I love the fact that there is no upkeep! We've had wood playsets in the past that always started looking worn out in a few years. This one looks new years later! We've also had excellent experiences with customer service. We had a bad wind storm blow it over and bend a few poles. We reached out to customer service and they were very helpful at getting us the parts we needed to restore our swing set. Would definitely recommend!!

Best play set ever!!!!

This is the best play set. It is so bright and colorful and my kids love it. It has a chalk board that you can write on and an area to play with toy cars. The slide is very fun and it is very sturdy. Both my children, my husband and I all went on it and it did not even wobble. I would recommend this play set.

Estes shipping sucks, but great playset!

The shipping was frustrating. Estes had it for a week before we received it, and it happened to be the only rainy day we’d had. Construction wasn’t too difficult, I had my FIL help when we had something that was more than 2 people could handle. We did lay everything out in the yard and I kept it the sections as it was boxed for ease in assembly. We had it built in 6 hours with the exception of the toys that go under the club house (it was bed time and she needed mommy). Overall great quality and it looks great in the yard.

Great customer service

I ourchased my grandchildren a lifetime playset so they would have years of enjoyment and they have. The trapeze handles over time have cracked and worried us that the kids would pinch there hands when using it. The customer service representative Stephanie was very knowledgeable and helped me with the replacement parts. I couldn't be happier with service and with your company. I'm really glad I bought a quality product with great service backing up their products.

My neighbors and I LOVE our playset!

I love Amy! She was very quick in assisting me through our email exchange and has registered my playset after I got (I tried to do it myself) but she personally handled it herself. She was very patient and generous about my requests and concerns. The only thing I wish would improve are our slide came in scuffed (could’ve covered with something, most hardwares were easily got broken (glad we own a hardware store so that’s not a problem but my anxiety was through the roof because they kept breaking on us), and labels on the big parts (we kept guessing which is which—we flipped the tubes for climbing board but didn’t make any difference; just my OCD seeing the holes). It very easy to assemble and I recommend 2 people—we did things separately; Took us approx 6 hrs with 2 sets of tools. We had Youtube and the physical manual as our guide. I’m 5’4 and 150lbs and have no problems with lifting anything… Just reaching lol, so make sure you have a 4-step stool for the roof and the swings! We bought this for my 2-y/o toddler. At first I was scared, even though she’s at 86%, I could tell she struggled a bit because of “height issues”. I tried everything before letting her use each part, and my husband did, too. I’m so glad we went with Lifetime; I initially considered getting wooden one but I can’t stand splinters and the look after 1-2 yrs. This is definitely sturdy and can hold our weight together (my husband, my toddler, and I). So we’re enjoying it, too!! I hope this would last at least 10 years. Thank you, Amy, for rust prevention tips!
