This works well HOWEVER, the dirty water container only gets halfway full before it stops the suction requiring you to empty the dirty water container, which happens about every two minutes of cleaning. This would be ok for small areas but to clean an entire house would be maddening.

This is a great small carpet shampooer. I love the attachments and all the extra chemicals that are included in this package. It's very easy to use, does a good job of cleaning, and the carpet dries fairly quickly. I would like for it to be a little bit lighter weight and for it to be easier to clean.

I like the retractable cord. Wish it were longer but that is the only downside I found. I have not used the attachments so can't address that. Like this vacuum a lot and the price is very reasonable. I am happy with this purchase.

It did fine removing recent spills that are a day or two old but any stains or dirt longer than that will not come off. We redid a room renovation but decided not to change the carpet which looked fine aside from a mark from my daughter's bed the ProHeat did nothing for that mark. My daughter used the machine she said it was easy to use, but cleaning the machine was impossible. The tank cleaned fine but the front part where the nasty gunk gets sucked up could not be cleaned which leaves bacteria to grow in the machine. I wouldn't recommend it.

Love this little carpet cleaner! I had not cleaned a carpet that was installed new 4 years ago. There was definite foot traffic dirt in some areas. Those areas took about 12 passes until the discard water didn't look like coffee, but what a difference in the carpet! It looked and smelled new! After about 10 passes it's time to empty the discard water, and 20 passes empties the clean water so there's a lot of back and forth to the sink, but for the convenience of taking my time and not rushing to return a rental back to the store, this inconvenience is totally worth the price. The included tool really helps to clean the suction areas and the brush areas. The included upholstery tool does a great job as well - I used it to clean the seats of some chairs purchased at a yard sale. It erased years of hidden dirt. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend.

My area rugs actually felt cleaner on my bare feet. I thought I was cleaning my house pretty well, and it turns out, it wasn't really clean! I love my new Bissell!

I had read reviews of others who said they couldn't believe how much was in their carpets...well DITTO here!!! I was SHOCKED to see how full it got and how fast!!!! It's easy to maneuver and I LOVE the wind up cord, which is extra long making it much easier, instead of having to replug every room~ It was easy to put together, and quite pretty! LOVE IT "sweepstakes"

This was right behind where our Hoover had been. We love the fact there are NO bags and how easy it is to empty the container. Love the rewind feature. Negative things? So far zero.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old Bissell was so old I couldn't get parts I needed for it anymore. I'm guessing after 18 years or so it's time for a new one. Love our new one its light and being able to reach ten feet or more with the wand is a great advantage. Especially as we get older.

I have not used this product extensively yet but so far am pleased. We previously owned and used a home version of a popular commercial cleaning machine and while it worked well, it was extremely bulky, heavy, and not easy to maneuver. This machine is light and much easier to get around. It was very easy to assemble. The solution tank and dirty water tank are simple to remove and fill or empty respectively. As I saw in another review, it really gathered the animal fur which made me question the job my vacuum is doing. I expect this to get a lot of use.
