[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is perfect. It has powerful suction and the rewind is a lifesaver. I vacuum my toddlers room every afternoon and it saves me so much time. I love this and highly recommend it. And it picks up a lot of dust.

I had a 20 year old Bissell and it had seen a lot of use so I started shopping for a new one. I did some research and this Bissell ProHeat Pet upright had some great reviews. I disagree with some who say the tank is too small - it is no smaller than my previous model. And boy, does this one clean! It came with a lot of extra bottles of cleaning solution, which was a plus. Also, it did not take long for the carpet to dry. I would recommend it if you have fur-babies who have accidents and track in dirt from the great outdoors.

Wowza. All the power of my (RIP) previous Bissell with a brilliant engineering checklist of everything you didn't know you needed. Starters, both vesicles are now a gorgeously vertical, delightfully nimble 3/4 gallon or so size. (Thanks guys!) The (once cumbersomely attached) furniture hose is truly SEPARATE in this glorious remake and stores nicely in hefty nylon storage net bag. The six bottles of detergent wasn't a hit with the nose-sensitive crowd but WOO-DOGGIE it did the job. I usually use LA's Awesome detergent for the citrussy efficacy. It's tight. It's powerful (noisy, use ear protection). New smaller vesicle size make changing/dumping liquids in a regular sized sink a breeze. Love it. Love yourself, clean up your act, people! :):)

It's hard to give this an accurate review because I've only used it once (the main problem with my previous carpet cleaner (a Hoover) was that it lasted less than one year before it started leaking profusely). But based on the single use, this machine does a good job of removing stains, it's fairly easy to maneuver, and it's easy to empty the tank. I took away one star because the reserve tanks "registers as full" before the cleaning solution is used up and is a bit too small ( it has to be emptied very frequently, which is the most annoying aspect of using a non-commercial carpet cleaner).

My carpet was overdue for a cleaning. I have a dog and the machine pulled up a lot of fur that my regular vacuum cleaner couldn't get. So much that it would spit fur out in clumps as I was using it to clean. I just picked them up and threw them away because the cleaner is made to collect water not other things. Overall it did a great job but when I was trying to clean the machine afterwards I found that taking it apart was not going to happen. As I mentioned before I have a dog and the fur that didn't get spit out I had to remove by using my hands and water. There's still some that I can see through the clear plastic cover but I can't reach it nor can I get the cover off to rinse with water or remove by hand.

Was not happy with this carpet cleaner. Rollers would not move. The dirty water did not go back into my reservoir, it went into my carpet. My carpet did not get cleaned after following all directions. Very disappointed. Returned machine for refund.

I didn't feel that the Bissell did a very good job. And I later noticed that the cleaner they provided had Hydrogen Peroxide which took the color out of the carpet I used it on. I followed directions and used the suggested amount in the water.
