We bought this item in September 2023 and had it assembled and installed October 2023. We are slightly less than 6 months since that time and numerous screws used to attach the gazebo to our deck have rusted heads and have fallen off. This is quite an issue when a large structure needs to be safely secured. It also makes me concerned with the rest of the hardware.

Horrible do not order this product they do not stand behind the installation. Installer showed up 4/23 broke 2 pieces . Came back next day - day 2 did not complete job . Day 3 no show - called no answer - text no response . Called Backyard Discovery and Sam’s nobody is helping me resolve the issue . Absolutely awful do not trust this company they will not help you . The install company Out of The Box won’t answer phone … says send text message … nobody responds

This gazebo is beautiful. It has easy to follow instructions, all the birds and hardware are numbered and every piece was there. I’m very impressed with this company. My husband and I mostly did this project with the exception of people helping hold. And we’re still married!!!

This review is not on the product but the ordering method. Don't purchase this item online and let them charge you $300 shipping. The actual item# in the store is 990055566.If you search that number on their online website, it'll bring up the same product but with item# 990283542, which states its not available for pick up but shipping only...BAM $300. Check with store associate to see if they actually have them in stock under item# 990055566. I got sucked into this but luckily caught it when I went to pick up some patio furniture, which they had in stock, and got to taking to an associate and she showed me that they had them. I'm in the process of cancelling the online order and once i get my refund, I plan on going to the store and purchasing it directly.

Great gazebo, great value, slow, but easy to assemble, most everything fit nicely, great quality hardware is included JUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION AND PICTURES VERY CARFULLY. (extremely important for successful project !!!) take your time, 2-3 days easy pace.

This thing is absolutely horrible. I've worked construction in years past and I'm very handy with diy projects. That being said, the quality of this gazebo is seriously lacking. Wood is warped, I tried to line things up even with wood clamps but the holes just don't line up either. Instructions are horrible, for example page 52 doesn't say anything about drilling but how else would you get the ridge cap channel secured with the wood grip screws. That's just one example but there are several. Trying to decide if I want to figure out how to finish it or send it back. I would strongly recommend NOT buying this, UNTIL BACKYARD DISCOVERY WORKS OUT THE KINKS.

Only providing 3 out of 5 stars because of installation issues and the amount of my wasted time time to get the gazebo installed. The gazebo from Backyard Discoveries is very good quality and looks great. I needed to have a few pieces replaced and they immediately sent them with no questions. Their customer service was excellent. No complaints with the actual gazebo or the manufacturer. My issue was with GoConfigure who is the contractor when you purchase the “Assembly” through Sam’s. While Sam’s tried to help, GoConfigure outsources to independent technicians. They failed to show up for my install on three separate occasions and never called and I needed to chase and constantly follow up. They apologized but most of their people are schedulers or agents taking calls, and they tried to accommodate me to move me up in re-scheduling. I wanted to speak with senior personnel but I felt blocked. The gazebo was finally installed on the 4th and three weeks later then promised. If you are handy, don’t purchase the “Assembly” with GoConfigure as they are unreliable.

Out of the box assembly company contract was given by Sam's club. its been more than 48 hours and i am still waiting for technician to come and install the gazebo. they scheduled sunday, monday and not tuesday but still no show yet. Sam's club is not helpful even we pay them price and it is their job to take care of it. not happy with the process to get this done. paid membership is not worth at my point of view.

Very disappointed in this product. All of the boards that go around the outside bottom of the roof are crooked. The metal roof does not line up with the edge of the boards and hangs over more one end than the other and the metal trim around top edge looks warped out of the box. I spent extra to have an assembly company assemble it for us, so I'm out that extra money for nothing, really. For almost $3000 I should have just had one built from scratch and paid a little more to have it done.

I bought this and called to see when it was going to be delivered. They said today, so I stayed home and waited. Only for this delivery company to put the boxes at the end of my driveway and to find out the delivery company can't come on property!!! So unless you can carry the boxes by yourself DON'T ORDER!!! When I called the lady hung up on me. Finally got on chat and was able to talk to someone and tell them to come get this! I am taking my business elsewhere!
