I bought this last year along with the $799.00 assembly option. After 5 no-show appointments by the 3 party builders. I decided that enough was enough. I told Sams I wanted to return the idem. They arranged for pickup and refunded all my money including the $300.00 freight and $799.00 build money. I bought it again in February 2025 and assembled it with the help of some neighbors. It turned out better than expected. I am very pleased with the quality, the way it went together and especially the way it looks.

Only providing 3 out of 5 stars because of installation issues and the amount of my wasted time time to get the gazebo installed. The gazebo from Backyard Discoveries is very good quality and looks great. I needed to have a few pieces replaced and they immediately sent them with no questions. Their customer service was excellent. No complaints with the actual gazebo or the manufacturer. My issue was with GoConfigure who is the contractor when you purchase the “Assembly” through Sam’s. While Sam’s tried to help, GoConfigure outsources to independent technicians. They failed to show up for my install on three separate occasions and never called and I needed to chase and constantly follow up. They apologized but most of their people are schedulers or agents taking calls, and they tried to accommodate me to move me up in re-scheduling. I wanted to speak with senior personnel but I felt blocked. The gazebo was finally installed on the 4th and three weeks later then promised. If you are handy, don’t purchase the “Assembly” with GoConfigure as they are unreliable.

We've had our gazebo for just over a month and we are loving it. I will say, it will take a couple days to assemble. The more help you have, the better! Pay close attention to the assembly instructions in addition to the animations on the BILT app- it will save you a lot of time and give you peace of mind that everything is installed exactly as it should be. Looking forward to summer months by the pool with our new gazebo.

This thing is absolutely horrible. I've worked construction in years past and I'm very handy with diy projects. That being said, the quality of this gazebo is seriously lacking. Wood is warped, I tried to line things up even with wood clamps but the holes just don't line up either. Instructions are horrible, for example page 52 doesn't say anything about drilling but how else would you get the ridge cap channel secured with the wood grip screws. That's just one example but there are several. Trying to decide if I want to figure out how to finish it or send it back. I would strongly recommend NOT buying this, UNTIL BACKYARD DISCOVERY WORKS OUT THE KINKS.

We bought this item in September 2023 and had it assembled and installed October 2023. We are slightly less than 6 months since that time and numerous screws used to attach the gazebo to our deck have rusted heads and have fallen off. This is quite an issue when a large structure needs to be safely secured. It also makes me concerned with the rest of the hardware.

I ordered this gazebo in March thinking I would have plenty of time for installation before my husband’s 50th birthday at the beginning of June. I would love to review this gazebo but it is still in boxes in my garage now that it’s May. Do not select installation from the SamsClub for this item. They have canceled on me twice. It is now been more than one week since they canceled on me last and they still have not contacted me back with the reschedule date. I have had to call them every single time to harass them to ask them to reschedule me. They do not reach out whatsoever. I am really hoping I will love my gazebo once it’s installed because the materials look fantastic and nice and sturdy. But it is not doing me any good in my garage on the floor. My best advice find your own installer. If you are not strong enough, we don’t have enough people to install it yourself..

Shipping was fast and the shipping company put all five boxes in my garage for me. My son, my grandson who is 14 and myself 66 put it together in about 2days of work. After we inventoried everything it went together easily. The first day we got the frame up, and asmbled the 2 large roof sections. The next day we put the 2 small roof sections together and installed the 4 sections and did the finish trim work. Everything you need comes in the boxes, I mean everything if you drop a screw there are extra thats not a problem. I used a battery powered screw gun and a 3/8 impact and thst made it real easy. My brother stopped by on the first day and gave us a hand and my other son stopped by on the second and gave us a hand doing the finish work.

We bought this gazebo and were extremely happy with the clear and well written directions. Every part was labeled and the directions indicated which parts were needed for each step. The finished product was more than I hoped. Great quality. The only concern was for the effort it took to get the roof panels lifted up onto the frame. You definitely need people with strength. Looking forward to spending my summer using this space on my cement patio.

Structure itself is great but instructions to put together are marginal at best, confusing at worse. You tube has videos and i would suggest people use that instead. Took 2 days to put together and this is with 3 people that have done plenty of these. You will need 3 or more for the roof.

It was challenging to put together. I’m good with tools and assembly and it took me 2 1/2 days. You will need 3 people on a couple steps and watch the tin roof! We have to get 6 stitches due to ankle brushing against it. Once together it is very nice and sturdy. Happy with the results.
