Works great

I have had this product for a week. Installation was easy as I pulled up the Midea model on their website and it gave excellent information on installation. Items are sent for multiple installations methods, and it really assisted me. unit is quiet compared to my window air in the next room and quietly starts. Remote can act as the thermostat therefore if you have a large room, you can place the remote in the central part of the room to maintain a more even temperature, Have not tried the Wi-Fi feature but should be very useful. Cool very well as has been 90 plus last few days.

I received this product thanks to a promotion and am LOVING IT!! It is super quiet and does not upset my animals (or me!!) when it switches modes from COOL to FAN. It keeps the room super cool, just how I like it. It was super easy to install even though I am small and not very tool savvy. Quick and easy is just how I like it. I love the remote control and the app to control it. I forgot to turn it off before leaving for a trip and was able to open the app right up and get that taken care of easy-peasy. I will be using this thing until the wheels fall off.

This AC is a much needed addition to our home as we have bedrooms on the east end of our home that don't cool very well in warm weather and they are cold in the winter. It's well constructed with a good selection of cooling and heating options. The installation instructions that came with unit were not complicated and were easy to follow. I like the fact that it is portable and we can move it to the room that a guest is staying in. Very convenient. Looking forward to utilizing the heating function on this unit is the winter months as well. Highly recommend. I received this unit on a promotion in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Keep the room very cool and cold.Design is not to big so will not take a lots of space of the room. Very wonderful design and make the room fancy, bright and look professional. Really recommendation 100% to the buyer .We really love it and enjoy with it a lots.Dont need to use central air to cool the house.Less electricity for the monthly bills.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Though we have air conditioning throughout our house, there are rooms in which we still need a boost, especially in the high heat of spring and summer. Our master bedroom was one of those rooms and this Midea Portable Air Conditioner has been an absolute game changer. Installation was quick and easy (under an hour) and it fit perfectly within the area we had intended it for. It includes every possible accessory to adapt and fit any style and size of window. Though it has a large profile, it is worth it considering how well this works for a unit of this size. Even for a heavy unit, it was easy to maneuver this in place and get it vented to the window. Within mere minutes of turning it on, we could feel icy cold air and within a hour (maybe even less), our room was noticeably cooler and comfortable. We run it on low most of the time and it is very quiet, almost like white noise when we are sleeping. Even on medium or higher though, it is not excessively loud and doesn't rattle or make any annoying noise like other unit we've tried. The remote control took a little bit of learning and trial and error to get it right, but it is a very convenient feature. The unit has lots of great features including a swing mode (basically rotates the fan to spread cool air instead of blowing one direction constantly), a timer, sleep and various other modes, including heat. It has been an incredible value and welcome addition to our home and I cannot recommend it enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this Midea portable A/C is working flawlessly. We have it in a finished space above a detached garage that is a little over 400 sqft and it is more than adequate. Like most portable units it is a bit noisy but not as bad as others we've used. The connectivity has been a bit buggy but that could be wifi strength in that area and we haven't had a chance to get a new node to increase signal strength.

Worked great for a year and a half until it stopped blowing cold air. There's a 3 year compressor warranty and a 5 year sealed system warranty (includes components retaining refrigerant). Unfortunately, you're required to get a technician to write a "tech report" to confirm the problem in order to take advantage of those warranties. I called every HVAC tech in the area. NO ONE works on portable ac units. They all said it doesn't make sense to do so economically and "everyone knows that". Still the service rep i was emailing with refused to move forward on any warranty without a tech report despite not knowing any establishment that can actually provide such a thing for a portable ac. So, if it breaks you're buying a new one (like i had to)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so easy to set up and cools off the area really fast. I love the remote so if I'm cold in the middle of the night I don't have to get up to adjust it. I just tried out the heat setting to see if it worked and it definitely does as well.
