Amazing A/C cools a large room with ease. Auto mode works better than any other portable A/C I've owned. Powerful cooling. One downside is it's heavy but works perfectly.

Don't waste your money - the water drain tray issue as noted by other users is so ridiculous. There's no accessible tray as mentioned in the manual. The unit jumps like crazy now on startup and shakes constantly - got it because it was quieter than a window unit but now it's worse. The clips for the window attachments are total garbage too and break so easily.

My HVAC system completely died about 2 weeks ago. It will be a month till My new system gets installed. I got this and cools my entire 1000sqft mobile home with no problems at all. Completely shocked at how quiet it is and how well it works. I 100% recommend this product.

The instruction manual is HORRIBLE. 1st glaring oversight: Instructions for "DRY operation" <Page 10 of manual> • Press the “MODE” button until the “DRY” indicator light comes on. /• While in this mode, you cannot select a fan speed. The fan motor operates at AUTO speed./• Keep windows and doors closed for the best dehumidifying effect. Notice that there is NO mention of the fact that the user should disconnect the duo hose. Evidently this maybe a requirement based on various chat groups dedicated to the Midea Duo., There is section in the manual : Water Drainage on page 17 that shows a picture of the unit with the hose retracted into the cradle with the following instructions: "During Dry modes, remove the upper drain plug from the back of the unit and install the drain hose" Based on my experience, you can operate in DRY MODE without attaching the drain hose as there is a 'water collection tray' that will collect water from the unit that the user can then drain using the lower drain plug. Ive also used the DRY MODE without disconnecting the duo vent hose but there is NO specific instructions (other than a pic in the Water Drainage section) that the hose must be disconnected when using in DRY MODE. 2nd glaring oversight: <Page 19 of manual> Store the Unit When Not in Use <Page 19 > "Drain the unit's water collection tray according to the instructions in the following section." The manual NEVER provides any instructions on how to access and clean the water collection tray beyond the following: :Run the unit on FAN mode for 12 hours in a warm room to dry it and prevent mold" Is the water collection tray not removable by the user? How can I disinfect beyond running on FAN mode for 12 hours or add bleach to ensure I don't have mold growth?

The cooling works fine. Person upset about no apology, likly dosen't understand he is speaking with a call center that handles calls for multiple brands and different appliances, has no part in making or selling any items, and has no reason to apologize. They are a third party call center.

Cools the bedroom down nicely and is very quiet at night for sleeping.

i wish i found this product years ago. It puts out good cold ac and warm heat It also saves on my power bill

I received this product thanks to a promotion and am LOVING IT!! It is super quiet and does not upset my animals (or me!!) when it switches modes from COOL to FAN. It keeps the room super cool, just how I like it. It was super easy to install even though I am small and not very tool savvy. Quick and easy is just how I like it. I love the remote control and the app to control it. I forgot to turn it off before leaving for a trip and was able to open the app right up and get that taken care of easy-peasy. I will be using this thing until the wheels fall off.

Received this great portable a/c unit as a promotional item . Best one yet. Easy instructions, quick set up. Immediately started cooling the spare room. Also having the stone wheels on the bottom makes it easier to move around. Really out performs any window unit we ever purchased.

I have had this product for a week. Installation was easy as I pulled up the Midea model on their website and it gave excellent information on installation. Items are sent for multiple installations methods, and it really assisted me. unit is quiet compared to my window air in the next room and quietly starts. Remote can act as the thermostat therefore if you have a large room, you can place the remote in the central part of the room to maintain a more even temperature, Have not tried the Wi-Fi feature but should be very useful. Cool very well as has been 90 plus last few days.
