I bought two of them, and the one I have hooked up works great. Cool our room and doesn't wake me up at night. The other one is where I have a problem. It uses a very non-uniform hose. I was going to set this up one with our sliding door (don't have any other windows that open downstairs). Unfortunately it's been weeks and I can't find any sliding door attachment that will work with the funky hose style this uses. Came on here to see if Midea sold one, but can't find one here either. So be aware, these won't work with other adapters.

The cooling works fine. Person upset about no apology, likly dosen't understand he is speaking with a call center that handles calls for multiple brands and different appliances, has no part in making or selling any items, and has no reason to apologize. They are a third party call center.

1st time getting this kind of unit, and NEVER HAPPIER!!

You definitely will need 2 hoses to let the water out of the system.

This air conditioner is excellent. Its in a hatd to cool place in our sunroom and it does amazing.

I share an office with folks that like it much warmer than I do, and my office is the warmest in the building by far. I to have a window that opens for the vent, so I picked this up to see if it would do the job. WOW, this thing pumps out the cold! My office is 12'x12' with 11' ceilings, and I can get it like a refrigerator now. Taking it out of the box was a little intimidating, as there are a lot of part included for different installations, but once you read the directions it is very straight forward. Make sure you check the Styrofoam on top and bottom, there are parts tucked into the foam that you might miss and accidentally throw away. Mine was a standard installation on a vertical open window, took about 15 minutes after I got everything open. You will probably not use all the parts provided. This thing is really cold. I usually have it on low, medium and low are very quiet. High is a little loud, but the force of the fan on high is very powerful. I cooled my office from 78 to 70 on high in 3 minutes. I really love the swing feature, it rotates the vents from pointing vertical to horizontal, circulating the air in the entire room. I set mine up so the fan is constant, but the compressor turns on and off to keep a constant temp. you can also set it so the entire unit turns on and off. I have not paired this with my phone yet, so cannot comment on that feature, though it looks interesting. My unit also will heat, but it is May in Arkansas, will be some time before I put that to use. Overall, I think this is a great purchase, and a value at the cost. It is exactly what I needed, and I have had many comments from visitors to my office that they might need one as well

My HVAC system completely died about 2 weeks ago. It will be a month till My new system gets installed. I got this and cools my entire 1000sqft mobile home with no problems at all. Completely shocked at how quiet it is and how well it works. I 100% recommend this product.

Worked for 1 season, then the EL-OC error came up 2 months after warranty expired. Midea could not help in any way besides directing me to their "repair" specialist. Very unfortunate

Stopped cooling juuuust outside of warranty. Non-servicable based on the lack of any support documentation. Now a hulking pile of electronic waste that I have to deal with.

Bought to cool bedroom while central AC was out. Easy to install in vertical and horizontal sash windows. Works great. No problems. Will use as an as-needed supplement during hot spells next summer.
