Overall pretty happy with the product. However, the changes they made in the reporting of interest and dividends are a total failure. None of the direct imports work. Cant find the bank or login does not work. Had to put in everything manually. Worked so prefect in the prior years. Why make these changes to the worse.

I think it is pretty sneaky the way you hide your Audit membership for a FEE of $45 and then make it so that it is almost impossible to go back and find it again once you realize you've just been duped! I been a Turbo Tax customer since the 90s. I'm really disappointed that you've gone to such underhanded and sneaky tactics to improve your bottom line. Maybe some of the other tax prep programs might be a little more honest won't be as crooked as TURBO TAX has become. I think I will check them out in the future!!!

There is a serious shortcoming: Turbo Tax cannot completely upload long Fidelity Investment Forms 1099-B. I wasted many hours trying to fix this before coming up with a workaround. I used my Quicken data which, unfortunately, is not as accurate as the Fidelity Investment data.

I had difficulty loading the program software. I needed to upgrade from Deluxe to Premier because Deluxe did not include Schedule D. This was cumbersome. It seemed every time I signed on to Turbo Tax, I was required to update. I have very, very slow internet making this inconvenient.

TurboTax Premier download was my selection because needed to handle investments in stocks, etc. Works as far as tax prep and guidance was very good, just about as good as previous years. A bit chunky in questions, but it worked. Lost one star because issues with displays, such as top menu bar having trunkaded text (Win11 Pro OS). Guidance on handling crypto currency trading should be enhanced, especially since 1099's from trading platforms are still not common, and may not be so in 2025. Intuit seems to be pushing for doing it with cloud-based versions vs download, both in its promotions and cost structures (offerings). Intuit descriptions of versions that are given on its website should be made clearer.

TT did a good job preparing my complicated return, but at the end I could not print anything from my iMac within the TT app. This problem persisted from early February at least until March 17, when I filed my taxes. TT community blogs were filled with complaints, but this major bug went unfixed for at least 5 weeks. Through the blogs, I learned of an involved workaround, but it's disappointing that TT did not address this.

Clear explanations throughout the process. However, at the end I was unable to find how I could save the Tax Return to my hard drive in a PDF file. I ended up printing it, but I would have preferred to save a PDF. Then after several frustrating attempts I was able to find a unique nickname.

I encountered a software glitch in the Step-by-Step final check of the Federal forms. Because a 1099-R was non-qualified, "Other" was marked instead of the IRA or 403(b) options, which is as it should be. This was in the section dealing with RMDs. TurboTax, however, didn't like this. TurboTax personnel reached out to others who reached out to others and all they could find was a totally different situation that involved the "Other" checkbox. What allowed me to proceed was to uncheck the "Other" checkbox, which one would think wouldn't be allowed, but it was.

I have been using TurboTax for over a decade and will continue to do so. The support on the phone is very good, personnel are easy to talk to and are very knowledgeable, and minimal wait time to speak to a person. A great benefit for continual use of TurboTax is the program's accessing past information on types of income and types of deductions, making it easy to get all deductions etc.

Product has become more difficult to use year after year. Getting to the form needed was difficult and kept having to go through the interview and re-answer questions that had become unchecked reduced my confidence in the product. I had a hard time entering income from an estate - the help was of no use. I had do google it. Also trying to do the estimate for the next year was 1) hard to find the area, 2) provided no way to review a P&L to verify all the inputs, and 3) was not intuitive. I just did it in Excel. Not sure why I keep paying extra for the Premier version.
