I've used Turbo Tax for over 20 years and it has always been a fairly simple task to file my returns. However with the elimination of Its Deductible, I probably will switch to other software.

I was able to get taxes completed in one afternoon. However, each year turbo tax changes just enough that there is always a bit of a learning curve which from my perspective means it gets just a little more difficult each year.

Agent helped me with a problem retrieving tax data from one of my financial institutions. She was very helpful and identified the problem, which was on the side of the financial institution, not TurboTax.

Washington State residents do not have state taxes, only for those eligible for some Families of which I am not eligible . Due to this glitch, even if I don't need a state filing, I can not E-file my return

I found it very difficult to enter a worthless stock transaction for which no 1099-B was received. I excercised ISOs for a private company that went bankrupt. There seems to be no way to enter this information into TurboTax.

Need to provide more clear reporting for RMD paid from one account with 1099 R and when you do not have 1099R from investment firm as no Withdrawal taken for RMD or any other reason

It was easy for me to understand the procedure. With my husband passing away this year. It helped me to fill out the taxes correctly and obtain and find the correct information.

The product had difficulty managing my 1099B sold assets for which basis was not reported to the IRS with unknown determination if short-term or long-term assets. Ultimately had to enter the data manually.

The interface was very awkward this year. Felt like I was being pressured to use online when it clearly won't do the job and opens up a high risk of data being stolen.
