I could not get my 2024 return to populate in my 2025 return. I had to manually input everything. I called for support and the representative was not able to help me.

Get rid of the AI - you have always done well without it. I have used Turbo Tax since its inception and will continue to do so as long as AI does not take over.

I think the interface is terrible. I like my taxes done on my desktop and when starting the program it default to online version. Very frustrating! And when you open another window, it's allows a reduced size and you have to enlarge it

We order the desktop downloadable with 5 free federal filings and one free state download. This allows us to file for our immediate family and two elderly parents. Can even be used to calculate other returns if you plan to mail them.

Not intuitive at all! Not easy to go back to the same category if you have 5 or so identical entries. It cannot generate the 8606 with inherited IRAs, makes it IMPOSSIBLE to finish and file.

My tax situation is fairly simple and does not change much from year to year. Turbo Tax can probably a lot more than I ask, but I do appreciate the clear and easy user interface that makes sure I remember everything.

I'm done with TurboTax and I've been using this for my whole adult life. The fact that desktop doesn't talk to cloud is insane. Don't even get me started on filing business taxes. Nightmare!

I love Turbo Tax but this time, the download was a little squirrelly. Kept saying there was an error and kept opening to this error. Had to open each time by the file, rather than the icon.

Your program should handle a consolidated W2, such as those provided by TriNet to an employee when the employee has worked for two or more companies using TriNet. You mistakenly assume 1 W2 for 1 Company, which is incortect.

First check ran smoothly, then when I reviewed it, I got errors all of a sudden. This was in reference to 1099-R, got errors about NYS taxes withheld & State amt distributed. The original 1099-Rs did not have anything in that field.
