Tide is designed to provide exceptional cleaning and we're sorry to hear this. Some tips to get the best results with your Tide PODS are: to use the recommended amount of detergent for average water hardness, a little more in very hard water, a little less in very soft water. Also, sort clothes by color and fabrics so that you can use the hottest water that is safe for the fabrics, and use the correct was cycle for the types of fabrics you are washing together. If you notice stains before washing, try pre-treating them. This should help give you the results you're looking for.

We always want our PODS™ to be convenient and efficient, and we’re sorry that was your experience! No worries, our detergents are water soluble, and any residue can be removed by soaking the garments as soon as possible overnight in water, and then rewashing without detergent in the hottest water safe for the fabric.
